This is a good quality base and it came in looking just as white as in the picture. I ordered this as an extra base for my infant maxi cosi prezi car set because I use multiple vehicles. I would recommend this item to others who want an easier time transporting a baby from vehicle to vehicle without having to purchase a complete 2nd one. I love how easy it locks in and out of place; a major plus for a new mothers back and tummy.

I have tried other organizers and seat covers etc and have found them lacking in one way or the other. With this one, you can tell that it is made with quality material compared to the other one. It is adjustable and stays firmly against the seat. The pockets are deep enough to hold anything you need in it. I have two grandkids that use this one in the car. I would like to purchase another one so that they can have their own as they both enjoy it and I can keep the treats hidden from them but they know that their "stuff" is in the other pockets as they can see it. My daughter is now using it for her car. I will purchase more as gifts as I find this one invaluable. It is nice looking, easily cleaned and keeps my car tidy. With the two of them, we need all the help we can get. Thank you Car Coordinates, you have a great product.

I realize that most people buy a backseat organizer for their small child or toddler. I have a very active 12 year old daughter who loves to draw and have fun. She gets bored in the car easily. She loves to create, Draw, do arts and crafts. We used to have pencils, paper, crayons, markers, and other supply's in the backseat. Now we can keep everything nice and neat in all the pouches and pockets so that the car stays cleaner. I am very happy with this item.

We camp alot in our SUV and this summer we went on a road trip. I bought the organizer for storing camping supplies and it did the trick. It held our water bottle, flashlight, bug juice, sun tan lotion, sun glasses, snacks, road maps and my nightie. Yup, my nightie as it was easier to keep it in the organizer then searching through my duffel every night. It was slick! It was easy to install and fit our Aztek just right with the bottom adjustable strap. The quality held up just great and wasn't too droopy with the items we used it for. I would definitely recommend this organizer to others.

Honest reviews on Best Back Seat Organizer for Kids - Stay Organized and Focused

The strap that goes around the head rest is not adjusteable and is too big for my vehicle's head reast so the organizer hangs very low and therefore does not cover the seat as much as hoped. The fastener for the head rest does not catch when put together so it does not stay together it comes apart and falls off of the seat. The strap for the bottom of it does not fit around my seat, not even close, at its fully extended length.

We go through car organizers like strawberry jam, it seems. They get a lot of use and we constantly wear them out. So I waited to publish this review until we put this organizer through its paces.

The result: FANTASTIC. My daughter loves to have her own organizer right in front of her seat to hold her various car toys, snacks, and her own personal box of sanitary wipes for use when we come out of a grocery store, playdate, or especially a doctors' office. She also has a spot to put her drink, and even a place for that ever important spare pair of underwear. (Hey, you never know!)

Now the rest of the kids want one like hers. Thank you Car Coordinates for finally making a good quality back seat caddy that is beautiful, functional, AND affordable! This is now my go-to item for any baby shower gift I need. I'm going to place that new order right now!

I have one each of the Britax Marathon and the Recaro ProRide for our two vehicles. I studied and agonized over the decision on which car seat(s) to get when I purchased them several months ago. There are a plethora of reviews that pit the Britax against the Recaro, so to save you reading time, I'll keep my review brief:

Pros of Both:

-Sturdy, High Quality

-Great padding

-Plenty of adjustment for a good secure fit (and our little girl is definitely behind the growth curve in weight: 1 year old and 17 pounds!)

Cons of Both:

-This is probably vehicle dependent, but if installing as rear facing then sometimes difficult to get it level because of how many vehicle seats slope down. Ultimately, in our Camry I followed manufacturer recommendations and used a tightly rolled towel underneath to achieve the right placement.

Reasons I like Recaro (I'll qualify this by saying both are good, this is just a preference and am probably splitting hairs):

-installation slightly easier due to nature of the latch belts.

-harness release is much easier to find and just seems to make more sense (ergonomically) based on how your hands work when you are reaching in the vehicle.

-seat seems less bulky and easier to transfer child in and out of.

-harness is easier to adjust and fit seems more snug (note on the Britax, fit is FINE, but we can't get any tighter so ideally it could be a hair better.

-shoulder pads stay in place better

-easier for child to see out of (keep those eyes busy!)

So, these reasons may not seem like a big deal...which is what I would have said when I was researching. I will close with saying, both are good, and I did not bother to return the Britax, BUT, if I had to go back several months and do it all over again, I would just get two of the Recaro ProRide models.

Happy researching!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Since 2001 I've been hooked on Britax car seats. The quality and ease of use of their seats puts them above their competition. When I was presented with the opportunity to review the Britax Marathon 70-G3 I jumped at the chance to see how it differed from the Marathon 70.

We own a Britax Marathon 70 so I decided to put it next to the Marathon 70-G3 for a side by side comparison. For the most part the seats are practically identical with a few small differences. The harness adjustor strap's release mechanism is the same, and I still find it awkward when compared to the Marathon and Roundabout 55 classic seats. Instead of pressing down, you need to press up. After nearly 11 years of dealing with seats that have easier releases, I still find this to be awkward. Harness height adjustment on this seat is a snap compared to the seats where you need to rethread the harness. You simply have to squeeze and pull (or push) to adjust the height of the harness straps. The ease of use for this function is on par with the simple adjustment of the back on a Graco TurboBooster. Parents who travel frequently and find themselves lugging their child seat through airports will appreciate the added touch of an area to clip the versa tether strap to be used as a carry handle.

The difference between the Marathon 70 and 70-G3 lies in the versa tether and the harness buckle. The versa tether on the new Marathon 70-G3 is energy absorbing and works to reduce forward movement and rotation in a crash. The seat also has the EZ-Buckle System which keeps the harness buckle in a forward position and keeps your child from sitting on the buckle. I can tell you that this feature is quite nice. I have been using a Roundabout 55 Classic with our nine month old and I can't tell you how often she ends up sitting on the buckle and freaking out while I try to pull it out from under her. The new design really works nicely to keep the buckle out of the way when loading the baby into the seat. The design reminds me of the harness buckle on our B-Agile stroller.

Installation of this seat was a snap. I installed it both rear and forward facing in my Toyota Sienna and it was easily and securely installed in both positions. Because the seat is so large, it is possible that this seat may not fit well in smaller cars when used in the rear facing position.

Overall, this is a great quality seat that will keep your little one safe, comfortable and secure for many years. In the nearly eleven years that I've been using Britax seats, I have found each of them to be worth the price.

Best Deals for Britax Marathon 70-G3 Convertible Car Seat

This car seat makes the other two I have seem like crap. I was given a Safety First Alpha and Omega, it's ok but it's hard to install correct and currently it is slanting to the left, I have to figure that out. I also bought a cheaper $40 Cosco Scenera from Walmart as a back-up car seat to go to my mom's. It is hard to get tight and it moves a lot front to back.

I had looked for a car seat for a couple weeks. I read review after review. Anytime one had a negative review I debated whether I should get that car seat or not. I started getting a bit paranoid about getting the perfect car seat for my daughter. I mean she is my most precious cargo.

First off, SIZE: my HUGE concern when getting a convertible seat was that it would fit in my Mazda 3 rear-facing. Many reviews of car seats I was interested in mentioned how huge they were and how difficult to fit in a smaller car. Some reviews mentioned how well this (Britax) fit in cars so I decided to give this one a try (because it also had great reviews based on safety and comfort etc...)It fits beautifully. If you install it directly behind a seat you'll probably have to move the seat up just a bit, but not bad. I like to put the seat in the middle though because that is the safest place. It fits perfectly. I can move the front seats back as much as I like. This was a huge selling point for me, and I know that when I was reading reviews it was something I was specifically looking for. I want to keep my daughter rear-racing as long as I can, so I needed it to fit nicely. I also love that this seat has a higher rear-facing weight limit of 40 lbs.

INSTALLATION: It took me a little bit at first but that was only because I was reading the manual carefully and familiarizing myself with the parts of the seat and the parts in my car. It was actually quite easy though. And now I could do it pretty fast for the second time. I used the LATCH system and it was pretty straightforward. But with every other car seat I have had I have used the seat belt. That way didn't look bad either. What I really liked about installing it with the seat beat route is that it has a locking mechanism under the car seat fabric that actually will hold the seat belt in place. You won't have to use those metal locking clips. The best part was after it was installed the car seat did not move! AT ALL! It didn't move side to side or even front to back it was solid. Another thing that I absolutely love about this seat is that I didn't have to use a stupid pool noodle to make it level. That always seemed lame to me that so many car seats are level on the floor, but most vehicles seats are slanted. Adding a pool noodle or rolled towel has always bugged me.

I love the material, it really feels nice and comfortable. The seat is also padded nicely. The velcro on the sides is nice because it holds the straps up so they don't get tucked under my daughters bottom. I also love how there is padded material that goes behind the buckle. This is nice because the straps won't dig into her chubby little legs.

I only have one negative thing to say, and that is more about the instruction manual. When it mentions the tersa tethering, I was a bit confused. I didn't understand based on the manual how to tether rear-facing. It was very vague. One thing, is you don't have to tether rear-facing it's optional (the manual made it sound like you had to) the other thing I thought is I needed an actual tether thing on the floor (like the one on the backs of seats). But you can tether using anything on the floor of your car that is bolted down. I used part of the track to move the front seat forward and back.

I love this seat and I would recommend it to anyone!

Honest reviews on Britax Marathon 70-G3 Convertible Car Seat

We are so happy that we bought a Britax Marathon. It is easy to install, super safe, and our long-legged kids are comfortable in it. My son (now 4) used it happily until my daughter turned 1. However, as soon as we had to move it from the center of the rear row, to one of the sides... the silver fabric of the Onyx heats up so fast, it burns my fingers to touch it. So, we keep a towel over it when not parked in the garage. In retrospect, we should have ordered a velour/cotton fabric that doesn't heat up so much.

I am not a reviewer, and to be honest this is my first on Amazon. But given all the reviews for this carseat that I read, I wanted to add a few notes. The reviews really worried me that this carseat wouid be TOO BIG for my car, to the point I almost passed up buying it. I drive a 4-door Mercedes C230, which is a small sedan. We had a Peg Perego facing backwards initially and always had to move the front seat up. I was completely sold though on the safety ratings for this carseat and the long-term investment that my child can grow in this seat. I reviewed and researched many others, but kept coming back to this one. I had my husband take the carseat measurements out to our car and measure our back seat and the position of the front seat. He said it would probably be tight. Then we drove up to BabiesRUs to take one out of the box and see how big it is. It definitely looked pretty big when we set it on the floor. But my husband thought we would be able to make it work. So I ordered it on Amazon with the cow print and of course got it in no time flat 2-day, no tax and free shipping. We actually didn't notice it had been delivered until the next morning before we left for work. My husband brought the box in and then left for the office. I couldn't wait! I took it out of the box, unwrapped it, and the first thing I fell in love with was the cow print! It is absolutely adorable! Such a cute print and a super soft fabric, almost silky. The primary base color is white so I'm assuming it won't get too hot in the sun (to be determined). The padding is wonderfully soft and thick and covers the whole seat along with the padded hip/back inserts that can be removed later when your child grows. Then I checked out the straps to make sure I could figure out how they loosen and tighten. So intuitive! You can adjust from the front by simply lifting the latch up and pulling the straps forward or pulling the tail end down. The top has a handle latch to raise and lower the back so that the shoulder straps can be adjusted properly based on the height of your child. Then I carried it out to my car for the big test will it be TOO BIG. It was no heavier than our Peg Perego carrier. It actually felt light, but maybe I was just expecting it to be heavy. The carseat slid right in to the back seat (forward facing). No tilting or angling. Just slid right in. I clipped it into the latches on the sides and over the head rest and cinched it tight. No problems at all. Then stepped back and looked at the fit. It still had maybe 2" of room between the end of the carseat base and the edge of the seat. The back was as tall as the bottom of the headrest (and I had adjusted it up a couple notches). It looked so much roomier than the Peg Perego carrier! The final test was to put my daughter in it and see how she responded. I strapped her in, and as we drove 5 blocks to school, she was so excited about it cooing and smiling and rubbing the fabric. She kept looking at me with this huge smile. I kind of wish they made a seat this soft and comfortable for the driver! So, my recommendation for all of you who love this seat for good reason but are afraid it might be TOO BIG, try it first! It might just be the perfect fit, and I hope you found this review helpful.

4 yrs old & 40 lbs = no more baby seat and hellooooo booster for my youngest child. CA has the following law: children shall be in a booster until they are 8 yrs old or 4'9"......... So, most booster seats on the market will be too small for the child by the time they are 6. I have 3 kids and one of them is 67 lbs at 7 yrs old. From my experience with my twins and boosters I knew this is what I wanted to buy again for my 3rd child. The bottom is flat and not rounded like most on the market. Features non-slip rubber material on the bottom. Easy to adjust shoulder strap that fits him perfectly. Detachable seat cover that is machine washable I hang dry mine just in case vice throwing in the dryer. The "arm rests" are the perfect place to set the seat belts so the kids aren't digging around for them. Two cup holders don't put anything long in them I can foresee it toppling. The cup holders work better when kids are younger (4/5/6) and not too well for the bigger kids (7/8) because kids start to overlap by then. I have recommended the Evenflo Boosters to pretty much all my friends whose kids are turning 4 & 40 due to the longevity of the item and the sturdiness of it to last until the kid is 8 (thanks CA.......).

This protector works fine with my Chicco infant car seat. The protector is secured around the seatbelts and within the seat. The carseat has a level indicator that shows the steadiness of the carseat. So far the carseat is steady and secured. I have heard by some that this protector is not safe. A customer from another site had the protector inspected by the police department. They said that the car seat is unlevel and unsafe. The protector does not allow clearance for the latch belt or safety belts. I'am not sure what type of car they drive to have this problem. It was also stated if you're in a crash, the car seat manufacturer's won't warranty your car seat if you're using the protector. I can't speak for other infant carseat brands that are being used, but no problems have surfaced at this point. I always check the car seat level indicator and seat protector. If it becomes a problem, the protector will be removed. Use your own judgement, as I'am sure you will for the safety of your child.

We own a Britax car seat and needed something to protect our seats in our new car although this protector does cover the bottom of the seat, the base of the Britax car seat does not fit where the leather, thicker parts of the protector are located and, therefore, seems to offer no protection to our seats. This is the 1st one I've tried so can't compare to others, but I do plan to return this one.

Honest reviews on Eddie Bauer Car Seat Protector

We have used the Eddie Bauer Car Seat Protector for coming up on 5 years. We first purchased them when our daughter was born, 1 for each car, and the seat protector has paid for itself many times over with the number of spills and stuff that is has kept from staining the seat. They are strong, sturdy, and our first set it still holding up incredibly well after such a long run of constant use. We liked them so much we bought a second set when our son was born (since his car seats needed them and our daughter was still using hers). We have not really used the pockets on the front but they might be useful for some small items or for keeping clean-up bags in your vehicle.

Jolly Jumper Sneak a Peek Sneak-a-Peek Infant Carseat Cover Deluxe - Black

I am a "research-aholic" in general and have researched many different baby products over the past 5 years due to being a mother of 3 and wanting to get the best for the price and not wanting to settle for less... I live in the Northeast US, so it gets really cold and the weather changes frequently and in extremes on a daily, if not hourly basis. Anyway, here are the brands I've used/owed and/or researched extensively and the comparisons:

Jolly Jumper Arctic Sneak A Peek Infant Car Seat Cover (JJA)

Jolly Jumper Sneak A Peek Infant Car Seat Cover (JJ)

Summer Infant Poshpouch (SP)

Cozy Car Seat Microfiber and Fleece Cover (CC)

Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) (yes the CC and the BC are different)

JJ Cole infant/original bundle me (JJC)

JJ Cole toddler bundle me (JJT)

OK...

Jolly Jumper Artic (JJA) is awesome, I would rate it the best one out of all. It is a "shower cap" cover for the infant car seat, it has a blanket inside that you can velcro closed to keep the baby's face covered and warm and you can velcro it "up" to stay open when the baby when you put the baby in the car out of weather's elements... It has two zippers which allow you to open the carrier and easily access the baby, keep the baby from over heating and you can also "flap the middle piece down to keep it completely off the baby. The blanket is a nice feature of this cover. You can use it alone with the flap open on a warmer day and you can also "flap" it down away from the baby as well when not in use. Another nice thing about the blanket is you can wrap it around baby to keep them warm, there is enough material on both sides to do this.. Some reviewers of this and other carriers stated that there were gaps around the handle, this is true of mostly all the shower cap covers except you can adjust it to cover these gaps. Also you can take the wrap around blanket and cover the baby as well as feed it through the gaps on the sides to close them if the cover cannot be adjusted to fit around the bottom to close that area. The outer portion is nylon, like a jacket and it is waterproof, the fleece is substantial and it keeps the infant very, warm. This is an expensive carrier but well worth the money! This is top notch!

Jolly Jumper (JJ) is just like the carrier described above but without the attached blanket. Again, overall an excellent carrier. It is not that much less than the JJA and no matter what climate I would pay the extra money for the JJA just because you can use the blanket alone with the flap of the outer portion of the JJ out and it is a very nice feature to have in the cover.

Summer Infant Poshpouch (SP) is another "shower cap" cover for the infant carseat but it has an opening in the top with no flap to velcro over baby's face. I owned this before the JJA and here are some differences. It is a much thinner material, the fleece isn't as substantial and the outer portion is not waterproof or nylon but a fleece polyester material. The opening is rather large and I felt as though breezes/wind would go right through the hole and it is definitely not as effective in making the baby too warm, esp. in colder conditions. To remedy this problem I put a blanket on under the cover and the baby seemed better on 30 degree days from the house to the car but not to take a walk. I also had to put a hat and make sure the blanket was high on baby to cover the baby's neck or use something to make sure baby's neck was covered due to the hole being so big. It also gaps more on the side then the JJA and the JJ. The SP only has one zipper to unzip the baby when inside. And when you want to keep the baby inside the carrier, you really have to take the whole thing off to leave the baby in to not be covered. And it is hard to get the baby out without pushing it aside.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ******* PLEASE SEE***** it was very scary when I discovered that when you place it on correctly and put it over the infant carseat, I would put my infant carseat into the holster and it WOULD NOT, I repeat WOULD NOT lATCH INTO THE BASE!!!! There was no way of knowing this unless you checked, (I check my baby each time to make sure the carseat is latched in just by habit), but it would not even be partially latched just completely unlatched.... I felt this was unacceptable.... Even when I tried to adjust it by pulling the bottom portion where the baby's feet would be up, the cover b/c of the elastic would just come up, bunch and be partially off with a gap under the baby's feet so I feel this carrier is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I paid 2/3 the cost of the JJA.

Cozy Car Seat Microfiber and Fleece Cover (CC) A lot of people think this is the BC and it is the same price but it is not. It is a cheap spin off of the BC even though it is the same price. The fabric is less substantial, it is honestly more like the SP. Not worth the money and don't make the mistake of getting it.

Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) Is BABY'S COZY WORLD uses a type of microfiber called microsuede, which is a soft fabric made from synthetic fibers that are an imitation to suede. It seems like it is a good bang for your buck coming in around twenty dollars which is half of the JJA. The only thing is if you live in a really rainy climate I don't think it would be as waterproof being microsuede as the JJ or the JJA material. Another reviewer stated that the BABY'S COZY WORLD is reversible (which I am not sure how it can be reversible deeming that it does have a flap that goes over the infants face like the CC, JJA and JJ)?

The reviewer also stated that the BC has pacifier clips, which would be a nice feature for toys as well and that is is very thick for all weather and it is the same price as the CC. ONE THING that many reviews said about the CC and the BC is that the zippers can be dangerous b/c they line up in the same place as a newborns eyes and have the potential for scratching the cornea. With the JJ and the JJA the zippers do not seem as though they would reach this far. Maybe the CC and the BC have larger zippers that might spin around in opposite directions esp if it is "reversible". It does have the zippers on both sides to unzip and expose the infant nicely when inside and do not want the infant to overheat while in the carrier. For the price this seems like it would be a good carrier as well and I would rate the the BC a close second and very comparable to the JJ but does not have a blanket feature like the JJA.

JJ Cole infant/original bundle me (JJC)is what I owned with my first child who was a premature infant and I only got about 7 months of use out of this cover. That is why I got the toddler JJ cole after. It is a different type of carrier than all the others that are reviewed above being that it is not a shower cap style it has an underside to the carrier that is placed under the harness straps and then a layer goes over the baby and is zippered down and around the bottom. FIRST OF ALL THIS IS DANGEROUS, which I never knew as a new mom, and why they even CAN SELL them as carseat covers is beyond me because if you get into an accident it compresses under the infant because of the added bulk between the seat and the child, (it is like the infant is wearing a jacket) so there is more room in between the harness and the infant deeming it unsafe. Also, JJ cole now has the lite JJ cole and says that it passed crash tests but The Bundle me Lite's openings do not come anywhere near the hip straps of the harness... meaning they would be improperly routed, thus creating slack. Here is a picture: No certified carseat technicians recommend this aftermarket product for the carseat. Any many if not all carseat companies state if an aftermarket product is used "inside" the carseat between the harness and baby it will void all guarantees for safety. NOT GOOD.

JJ Cole toddler (JJT) Had this mostly with my first child and second and would not use now d/t the same reason above with the JJ. But it could be nice with a stroller. The only thing is you do need a hat and something to cover the baby's neck as well.

In summary:

#1

The Jolly Jumper Artic (JJA) wins the race, I am very very please with this product, esp the blanket aspect that I think is well worth it!

The JJ is basically the same product as the JJA but without the blanket....

#2

The Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) (but make sure it is the BC and not the CC when you purchase it) comes in a close second esp for the price!

Hope this review is helpful to you and you now won't have to go through the countless hours of research and will be getting a great product while not wasting any of your time or money on another worthless baby item!!!!

We have been getting a lot of use out of this on cold winter nights. It keeps baby warm, is well made, & easily goes on the carseat. We have two different types/brands of carseats & it fits both I was a little worried about that based on the other review. If you have cold winters, I would definitely buy this again in a heartbeat.

Best Deals for Jolly Jumper Sneak a Peek Sneak-a-Peek Infant Carseat Cover Deluxe

I ordered this to have a carseat cover that doesn't interfere with the straps on the inside of the carseat and this one is great for that. It is easy to take the whole cover on and off if you need to but you can easily get to the baby with the zipper system on the front without taking it off. My only complaint is that with my snugride carseat it is stretched to the max on top and the velcro that holds the upper flap closed just barely reaches. So, there is a little bit of a gap on both sides which lets some cold air get in. But it still works pretty well and I am happy with it!

This fits my Chicco Feyfit 30 carseat and keep my 3 month old son wrm and toasty. No more blankets draped over the carseat when going from the car to the house or the store. Only thing is I wish it came in different colors. :)

Haven't found anyhing wrong with this purchase yet. Received it a week ago and it proves it can retain heat and block wind. For me there is nothing worse about winter than cold wind here in the north east so I was more than willing to shell out $30 for a quality made product that fits our chicco carseat. saves me the hassle of layering clothing and blankets which always threaten to blow away. Baby seems comfortable and even comforted by the dark cacoon it creates for her. I would recommend this product.

Jolly Jumper is just like the carrier described above but without the attached blanket.

I wish I had used this item sooner. I originally purchased this item before my son was born, but reading some reviews I scared myself out of using it based on some reviewers stating that it was not allowed on a car seat. For this reason, I did not put it on the carseat for the first few months after my son was born. I did keep it however to use it in the stroller.

The bundleme is so very soft and cozy and protective especially in the harsh New England winter weather.

After attending a mother's group where almost ALL of the other babies were in similar type bundle sacks, I was the only mother who did not have her child in a bundleme, and it felt criminal. I did some more research, and found that it really was fine to use the bundleme correctly in a carseat. It allows access to the safety straps and harness and does not cause any gaps. My son felt as secure or even more so with the bundleme.

Sometimes all of the research can lead to paranoia, but really this product is great whether you decide to use it in the stroller or the carseat. Personally I found it to be such a comforting item to my child, and very safe and practical in use.

My 4 month old used to have this car seat cover until I realized it's unsafe! The layer of fabric between the baby and the actual seat prevents the safety straps from being as tight as they need to be in order to be effective in an accident. It served it's purpose and kept him very warm but so does my new coverand it doesnt jeopardize his safety. Now I have the one that fits over the seat and although it's a little harder to get him in/out it keeps him just as warm and is not a safety hazard.

Honest reviews on JJ Cole Original Bundleme

I bought a bundle me to put in my son's stroller so that we can enjoy the last bit of sunlight before winter begins here in Alaska. First of all, my son weighs only 15 lbs, but his feet are already to the bottom of the bundle me. Given how quickly infants grow I doubt this product will last to 21 lbs or a year. Secondly, I was disappointed with how thin it was. It was around 43 degrees out and I had my son dressed in a onesie, leg warmers, denim overalls, socks, shoes, a sweater, and a hat. Luckily I brought an extra fleece blanket with us because when we stopped for coffee and I was nursing him I noticed that he was cold! Wrapping him in blankets for stroller rides may be a pain, but at least I know he is warm.

The level of warmth it provides might be sufficient for a carseat, but since it is unsafe to have anything between your baby and the car seat that did not come with the seat, I will be returning this product.

Well-made and very warm, also easy to use. It would be 5 stars, but my 9 month-old has already outgrown it in length; her legs have to be bent in the stroller to be able to zip her up in it. She's not freakishly tall her feet don't hit the footrest on the stroller. This is more suitable for younger infants.

We own 2 of these regular non-rainforest high chairs, plus 1 with the rainforest toys for Grandma's house. It's love! But your probably don't need the rainforest version.

We have limited space, so one of these is our permanent kitchen high chair, strapped securely onto one of our dining room chairs. It adjusts to 3 heights based on the chair's height from the table and the baby's size, and the tray comes with 3 pieces which are dishwasher safe (tray, divided tray insert, and a cover). The tray can also be put into 3 different distances from your baby's tummy depending on his clothing and size.

The tray is very easy to get on and off in a hurry. This is good for when your child inevitably gags or chokes and you need to get to him in a hurry. Also, unlike other high chairs that we've used, he can't remove the tray himself. Some other styles of high chair have a pull latch on the front of the tray--which has the big design flaw of releasing when it's easily kicked!

This folds into a nice, trunk-friendly bundle for carrying around in your car for visiting relatives, etc. The back of the seat has a handle for your hand, or you can use the under-chair strap as a shoulder strap for carrying. I also prefer to take it into restaurants to have the tray available instead of pushing a high chair up to a table. The snap-in tray cover keeps the food tray clean no matter what else is bouncing around in your trunk.

Now we have a second basic one which permanently lives in the car until our next baby comes along, then we will have both our kids in these at the dining room table.

When the baby becomes a toddler, you can stop using the tray and use it as a regular booster chair with the adjustable height for any chair/table height combo.

We bought the rainforest version when we flew out to Grandma's house to keep there. It is super cute, but there is a VERY NARROW window of time in which your baby will be a) big enough to play with it and b) small enough to be interested in this instead of food. The toy insert is snap-in and easily removable. But, it does not get any more compact, which really increases the amount of space it takes up (if that's a concern for you). You can theoretically remove the toys from the "jungle" to conserve space, but they snap in very securely so it's a pain. So, when we traveled with Grandma and Grandpa to the beach, etc, the rainforest part stayed behind. Plus, our baby at 1 year old was too old to be interested in it for very long. He just wanted to eat and then get down and crawl/walk around instead of hanging out and playing with the toys. I hoped it would buy us some time at the table, but not at this age! Maybe for a younger baby.

I got this when my daughter started having solids at 6 months old and she still uses it at 2 1/2 years. I did have to pad the chair with blankets when she was 6 months old to keep her from slumping. At 2 1/2, she is 29 lbs and 34 inches and sits comfortably in it. I can see her using it for a lot longer as a booster chair as well. It is definitely not small as one reviewer mentioned. Of course, all that depends on each child. It is very well made and has been with us on many trips, both domestic and international. My daughter has several allergies so this chair goes everywhere with us. The toy insert keeps younger babies occupied and is cute. The only problem I found with the toy insert was the paper stickers that started peeling off with continued use and washing.

pros: well made, good quality

grows with baby (adjustable table and height and chair back can be removed)

easy to clean (just wipe chair with clorox wipes, table can be put in dishwasher or easily hand washed)

easy to use while holding baby in one hand

light and easy to travel with

fits on most chairs

toy insert keeps baby busy

cons: paper stickers peel off with continued washing

straps tend to get gunky, especially if you have a very messy baby (think chicken puree everywhere)...not a huge problem though since you can just take out the straps and wash them. I let them sit in a cup of vinegar for a while before rinsing them out, takes care of both stains and smells!

Update: My daughter, who is now 4, still fits comfortably in her booster seat and enjoys sitting at the dining table with us. The height is just right for her to eat at the dining table(she is 33 lbs and 40 inches!). This seat truly grows with your child!

Best Deals for Fisher-Price Rainforest Healthy Care Booster Seat

I bought this seat because we have two other items from this this line (the gym mat and the jumperoo). It looks cute and the toys also made it more appealing to me. The downside was that it is frustrating to operate. The tray snaps into three places depending on the size of your baby. It is not easy to adjust the tray or remove it if you are holding your baby. Locking it into place also is not as easy. Although it has three adjustable height positions, even on the highest, I felt it was too short for my daughter. The toys are nice but for smaller babies. Mine is 8 months and she has limited interest in them. I would opt for something a lot more user-friendly.

Honest reviews on Fisher-Price Rainforest Healthy Care Booster Seat

The Rain Forest Healthy Care Booster Seat is an ideal product for Grandma's house, for those with smaller homes and limited space for baby items, and for travelling. It can be used on most full-sized dining chairs and can be left in place, if necessary, so that storage does not become an problem.

This is an excellent item for individuals who need to have a highchair handy for grandchildren or visitors, but who do not want a full-sized highchair taking up valuable living space. Individuals living in apartments or smaller homes, and who have a small to average sized infant may find it useful as a space saver. Those who frequently visit friends and want to have a highchair available for feeding will find this very portable and easy to attach and detach from a regularly sized dining room or kitchen chair.

The drawbacks associated with the booster seat are several. Larger children may not be able to use this product for any extended period of time. A 21 pound, 28 inch tall infant has about 1 inch clearance between the tray and himself when the tray is in the most forward position. He is six months old and this is the first time that he has been able to use the chair. The chair is not particularly sturdy, although I do not think it would qualify as being flimsy. The tray snaps onto a protruding button and pulls off; a larger, older toddler might easily be able to disengage the tray. Finally, this is somewhat expensive when evaluated against its useful life. Those who have the room for a larger, regularly designed highchair would be advised to go that route.

All in all, the Rainforest Booster seat is a good product and has valuable uses in certain circumstances.

My son is 6 months old and he can sit tall if propped up with pillows. So, I thought he may be ready for a booster seat. This is a good product, but my kid keeps titling toward either sides and is uncomfortable in it. I tried putting some towels to cushion the sides of the seat so that he can sit up. It helped only for a little while. He loves to play with the toys, but he is not comfortable in the chair. I will wait and see if he enjoys the seat with time.

I was hesitant to buy these because there were no reviews but I liked that they were simple, no toys attached and not reversiblepriced right also. Upon receiving them (I got 2, one for my 2 year old and one for my baby when she arrives) they looked great! They are well sewn and very soft.

We installed them in our daughters car seat (Evenflo Triumph Advance) and they were very wide but I'm a crafty person so I can fix it pretty easily, just haven't yet. She loves that they are softshe kept rubbing her face on them, and when she fell asleep they did the job and kept the straps from cutting into her neck, also looked like they acted as a small pillow.

All in all they are perfect. I wouldn't expect Jeep to make them any narrower because they need to be used around all sorts of straps, so just a heads up that they are pretty wide but everything else about them is perfect.

Simple and Soft.

The product pictured is NOT the item I received. I purchased these Pink Jeep Strap Covers for 4.99 and free shipping (Add-On Item). I was expecting a little more padding but didn't expect them to be SO soft! They are a bit wide and possibly too wide. They are reversible you just need to do the Velcro a little different. I guess that's why they are so wide so you can reverse them but I wouldn't. The soft side is much nicer than the inside. Though these are so thin, I'm going to return them. After being used for a month or so I can see these being paper thin and not worth a darn. I am not happy when I expect to receive an item pictured to get something kinda similar. The straps shown resemble other straps on the market. The ones receive resemble something from a dollar store.

I bought these because of the price, however they are way to padded. also, they are fleecy and cant be used in the summer when it is hot. May be better to use in winter.

Soft thin material. I would have passed in person. I was looking for thicker cushioned to cushion the child when they fall asleep in car seat.

I revceived this item as a baby shower gift. My baby used it for about a month and seemed to really enjoy it. After one month of use the portion that lights up and makes music quit working. The ends still spin, but she is no longer interested. I emailed the company re: my problem and am waiting to hear back. I will update my review if they respond.

I rated this item three stars because I really enjoyed the product but it didn't work for very long.

My daughter loves it and plays with it. The only con is that it plays music only for a few seconds. I bought a seperate remote controlled musical mirror for her. I wish this product would play music for at least a minute.

The idea of the toy is good and the music does keep my baby entertained however, the toy wraps on to the car seat handle and it's really close to his face. I am not sure if bothers him or not but I do see that his eyes cross at times... I didn't return it because it would cost me $5 and it only cost $10 to purchase...

This is a great looking toy and I wish I didn't have to return it but when you press the dog's nose for music, nothing happens and you can hear a whirring sound like it's trying to work. Sad, because I'd love to attach this to his car seat!!

This is a really nice seat. BUT it wouldn't fit right in our 2010 Subaru Forester. Maybe if the little one would always be alone in the back seat? But The driver [or passenger] would always have to be short as the front seat can't be very far back due to this seat's footprint when rear-facing. And it's really wide. It got great reviews and we had an earlier model of this seat several years ago for our first grandchild that one had a smaller footprint. If you have the room in your car for this, you'll probably love it and your baby/grandbaby probably will, too! These seats should come with more practical details to make the purchase of one much less daunting!

I purchased this seat for my 11 month old. I wanted a convertible seat because she's short, so she'll probably remain rear facing for a while. My husband affirmed that this seat was easy to install, you just need to know where your anchors are. I like the cushions (daughter fell asleep in her first ride) and I also like that the shoulder straps do not have to be re-looped in the front as she grows, they slide up. I like the recline feature, the separate cup holder (we don't use it yet) and the material. I like the material of the head rest because it does not pull out her hair like cotton. My only issue is that it is a large seat, very wide. I would recommend it to others, but would let them know it is kind of large. That makes me feel secure, however, it takes up a lot of space. We have it installed rear-facing in a Jeep Commander. Oh, I think a few others mentioned that it is hard to release when getting the child out. It took me some time to learn to slide the center latch instead of pressing down. I like that fact that it isn't "easy" to open, that means her little hips are secure. However, after one month of owning it, I can release the center latch with one hand. Very pleased with this purchase.

Best Deals for Evenflo Triumph65 LX Convertible Car Seat, Mosaic

The car seat installed very easily in my vehicle, it is easy to set up and adjust the straps for size. The latch design is better than our previous car seat (a removable infant basket) because it snaps in from the top of the buckle, making it less likely to pinch the baby's leg while buckling him in.

The one thing I don't like about this seat is that it is very bulky. In back-facing mode installed in the center of a small car it isn't easy to see around.

Honest reviews on Evenflo Triumph65 LX Convertible Car Seat, Mosaic

This is my absolute favorite carseat. I currently own 6 carseats, including the brands of Graco and Britax. They can't hold a candle to this seat. It is SUPER easy to tighten, I never have problems with the straps being uneven and I can do it all one handed (thanks to the knobs!). The slide-adjust harness is so easy. I can put any kid in this seat and never have to re-adjust anything! The only thing I wish that Evenflo would do is make the wings a bit deeper, so that my kids heads don't slump as easily.

I purchased this from Babies R Us, and I rather like it. The color combos are fun, and the products are well made. The stroller is sturdy, comfortable, and easy to fold. The seat is nicely padded, and the pull tab at the front of it makes adjusting straps a breeze (a must-have in my book). The Baby Trend EZ Flex-Loc seat base fits this seat, so if you need an extra base, it isn't much to pick one up. All in all, quite satisfied.
