BOB Infant Car Seat Adapter Duallie for Britax Review

I took a gamble with BOB Car Seat Adapter for Britax because BOB doesn't make an adapter for Baby Trend Car Seat (I specifically have a flex-loc Baby Trend). I couldn't even find anywhere on the internet that had a solution for this (other than buying a Graco). I love our Baby Trend Car Seat and already had it from our first child. I didn't want to purchase something else.
I tried some of the adapters at Toys 'r' Us and none of them worked. I tried the Graco, Peg Perego, and even the Britax with a Baby Trend Car Seat. None of them worked. The Baby Trend Car Seat wouldn't attach at all to the Graco or the Peg Perego adapters. On the Britax adapter, the Baby Trend could sit on it but didn't snap in and any weight on the front of the car seat would flip it right off.
After searching long and hard on the internet without finding any solutions (other than buying a different Car Seat). I found the Britax Infant Carrier to Stroller Adapter Strap. It is super simple! Just a strap, a buckle and some D-rings. Wrap the straps around the metal pins in the Britax Car Seat adapter and the straps can buckle the Baby Trend Car Seat in securely! It's perfect! Very secure.
I do have one confession. The baby to go in this isn't born yet. I will update this review once I have some time with the baby in it. Though, I don't see many issues.
Good Luck!
This is a high quality product, as I'm accustomed to coming from BOB. You won't be disappointed. I realize that many complain about having to purchase extras from BOB that don't come with the stroller (i.e., sun shade, weather shield, etc.), but in this scenario it is completely understandable given the wide range of car seats on the market. There are simply too many to anticipate everyone's needs.
If you're not sure which car seat adapter you need, visit the BOB website. They have a comprehensive list that details which adapter you need for your car seat. It's incredible the number of adapter's they have made to accomodate so many car seat manufacturers.
I feel absolutely positive that my baby is safe and secure in her car seat while snapped into the adapter and removing the car seat is very simple, yet ingenious. Don't let a small child keep you from getting a good run in!

I have always been more than satisfied with BOB products. We own an Ironman single stroller and purchased a duallie when our second arrived. Having this car seat adapter makes it a cinch to run with the baby, and I feel secure knowing she's securely strapped into her car seat. The car seat snaps into the adapter, and the adapter snaps into the stroller...they are both sound attachments and there is no way they're coming out. This is a high quality product, as I'm accustomed to coming from BOB. I got the Bob dualie because we are expecting twins and ordered the adapter to go with it. The problem is that it only holds one infant carrier not two as one would expect for a stroller for twins. Would work fine for an infant and toddler.Tuesday, April 29, 2014

These lack any sort of spongy absorbing ability (pad), so the "piddle" simply pools and eventually drains through the belt opening.

I wish I would have bought these when my son was born. I just found these when looking at potty training items. They fit nicely in the seat and are easy to remove. I purchased this with reading most reviews but was very disappointed. The first time we had an accident it soaked through the pad to the car seat and even through to the seat. It doesn't help at all. Also, this product is lined with a very soft but warm material that sits against the Childs rear, if you live in a warmer area your child will be insulated. It's too hot. I've found better luck with the bed pad liners from ikea and cutting a hole to let the buckle through. I have had accidents and it seems to hold more and often doesn't reach the seat. Some days are better than others. Tip # 1: protect your "car" seat. You can't wash it as easy as your Childs seat.Best Baby Bella Maya Pink Leopard Infant Car Seat Cover Deals

I am 6 months pregnant with my second child. My first was a boy and we received the Graco Snugride travel system. Instead of wasting another $250 on another one, we decided to buy a new cover for our blue seat and re-use the stroller. When I saw this cover, I knew that my little diva had to have it. I received it and immediately put it on our old car seat. It fits perfectly and was very easy to install. Other than being able to see a tiny piece of the original cover through the strap openings (barely noticeable), you would never be able to tell that it didn't come this way. LOVE IT!!

I purchased this for my toddler, who has sometimes has accidents in the car. I looked at this product and the piddle pad. I got this one because reviewers on the piddle pad complained that the pad doesn't stay in place and this pad seemed to fit more securely (velcro to attach around belt straps and seat belt buckle slot). This pad doesn't stay in place very well and gets in the way of buckling since it bunches up around the buckle so you can't get to it. My son had an accident and some of it still leaked onto the car seat. I still use it as a safeguard, but I'm in the market for something better.
I think that it's ok for use with an infant who doesn't get in and out of car seat, but toddlers climbing in and out move pad around too much for easy use.

I have tried many different kinds of car seat protectors, or "piddle pads," and this one definitely takes the cake. I could tell it was of a higher quality standard when I first removed it from it's box. And after using it one day I can say my little one put it to the test and it does its job very well. It actually HOLDS the mess, it doesn't spill around the edges the way other brands/types do. Great product and a great value!Best Deals for Diono Dry Seat Car Seat Protector, Grey
I've had this product for a while now. We have a Sunshine Kids Radian 80 carseat for my almost 3 year old. At first, I really liked that it fit the seat so well. Now, I think it just might be useless. My son is potty training, but still has accidents. The most recent of which proved this product absolutely useless. It was quite a large amount of urine, but it soaked through this pad, through the car seat material and even found its way to the actual seat in the van. Not what I expected.Honest reviews on Diono Dry Seat Car Seat Protector, Grey
I ordered one for my toddler, who kept having accidents in the car, and one for my infant, just in case. Overall this pad has performed well for both, but at least twice it didn't save my toddler's seat from her accident. It does move around when she climbs in and out of the seat, but I can't imagine an easy-to-remove design that wouldn't move around. For me, I'd rather spend an extra 5 seconds pulling the pad and buckle out from under her than an extra 20 minutes taking apart the carseat to wash it after an accident.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Diono Dry Seat Car Seat Protector, Grey
I put this in the car seat when my kids start potty training so that I am not constantly having to wash the car seat cover in the event of someone not making it to the potty. I have 2 so there's always a spare. Much more sturdy than what I've found elsewhere. Perfect fit in the carseat and does not interfere with the straps or buckles.Buy Kiddopotamus Deluxe PiddlePad

The shape and general design is excellent -fits well in our infant carseat, and it also fits nicely in her little bouncer seat, around the harness/straps (we had a surprise diaper blowout in the bouncer, so I tried this the next time we used it).
My only beef with it is that if you live in a warm climate, as we do, the fleece-like material that sits against your baby's back and bottom -along with the waterproof backing -has an insulating effect and traps body heat, thus causing your little one to turn into a little sweatball. Even in an air-conditioned vehicle, my baby practically roasts with this pad in place. If a more breathable material were available, I'd give it a 5-star rating, but the overheating factor is definitely an issue for us.
We have two of the older style PiddlePads and they don't stay in place nearly as well, although they are much better than nothing. These new ones also seem to be a little thinner which should be a little nicer in the summer months too.

We have two of the original Kiddopotamus PiddlePads and I thought they were the greatest things ever! These are so much better with the design improvements. The hole fits over the buckle on the carrier/booster seats which helps anchor it in place and the flap that semi-covers the buckle strap aides in keeping crumbs, etc. from falling down in the crevices of the buckle hole. The fitted fold design helps it fit and mold better and they really do hold a lot! Our now 2.5 year old is into training pants and they don't hold nearly as well (or as much) as a standard diaper does, so when she has a blow out these really help out a lot. With our second one on the way, we went ahead and ordered more. Its a great idea to keep one extra for every carrier/booster seat in the vehicle (or stroller) just in case you really don't like taking apart car seats to wash them all the time.We have two of the older style PiddlePads and they don't stay in place nearly as well, although they are much better than nothing. I take long car trips every month and have found this pad to be a lifesaver! On occasion, my 2 year old son will spill his juice or wet through his diaper. All I have to do at that point is change my son, take the pad off the seat, and put another pad on the seat. Much easier than dealing with a wet seat! I have 4 pads total, 2 for each car seat, for my two sons. These pads hold the liquid or wetness in them, and allow the carseat to stay completely dry. When I get home, I wash the soiled pad in the washer and let it drip dry. So easy! Well worth the purchase!Honest reviews on Kiddopotamus Deluxe PiddlePad
i bought this pad in hopes that if my son, who is potty training has an accident in the car, it wouldnt create a huge mess. we all know taking apart a car seat to wash it is a pain. I was so happy when it came in. My son leaked thru his pullup and when i took him out of the carseat, the pad was wet but so was the carseat. didnt protect the seat at all. It is Definately not even close to being waterproof. What a dissapointment!!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Kiddopotamus Deluxe PiddlePad
Okay, so this is one kid product that I couldn't live without! This is a pee pad for car seats. I have one in each car seat. These were livesavers when my daughter was in the early potty-training stage. They will soak up a normal pee and keep it from getting on the car seat. We did have a few "floods" that were too much for the pad to hold, but that was not the fault of the pad. For all those times I could pull it out and wash it and not the carseat cover it was a great thing! This is a product I tell all my mom friends about when they are potty training. Even though we are 100% potty trained I still keep them in the car seat because you never know when an accident can happen and I don't have time to be pulling the car seat apart to wash the cover.Sunday, April 27, 2014

After just a week of use, one of our Britax Kick Mats had a rip at the top pocket seam. The pockets are very poorly placed, since they are located exactly at the level where kids tend to rest their feet. Another issue we had is that the bottom elastic band isn't long enough (or low enough) to reach the bottom of the seat back. In our case (Sienna 2012), it rests in the middle of the seat back, and you can feel it with your back when you sit on the seat. I much prefer the Prince Lionheart Backseat Kick Mat, which leaves the useless pockets, is much more sturdy, and has a flexible velcro strap to secure to the bottom of the seat. I am returning my Britax Mats.
Edited 9/9/2012 to answer a question: We tried this with a Honda CR-V, which is a small SUV that has average size seats.

Just replaced my old saftey first kick mats with these, SO MUCH BETTER! I just installed 4 of these kick mats in my new 2012 honda odyssey (2 behind the front seats and 2 behind the 2 middle captains chairs) They fit perfectly and the best feature is the top strap, insted of velcro (that never adjusts quite right) it is a clip that adjusts to the exact width you need. Love the pockets for extra storage space for the kids stuff instead of it going onto the floor :) Will keep this product on my favorites list for when I will need replacments at a later date!Best Deals for Britax Kick Mats (2-Pack, Black)
In order to secure this to your car seat, you have to work this elastic band from the top of the car seat down to the bottom. It is not wide enough to fit and I would probably mess up the seat trying. I guess if you have a small seat it may work. In any case, it is a poor design and I am returning it.Edited 9/9/2012 to answer a question: We tried this with a Honda CR-V, which is a small SUV that has average size seats.

we have a toyota tundra and a honda pilot, both with light greyish leather seats. our daughter has been kicking the seats and making them dirty. i got tired of taking her shoes off each time she's in the car. after looking around amazon, this seems to be the best price for a brand that i like. so i got 2 sets, and they fit both cars just fine! the bottom strap shows a little bit, but it's not that noticeable. it covers the seat backs completely, and these are not small seats by any means. i don't plan on using the pockets.now i just have to get the cars cleaned and we're all good to go!

Cheap Summer Infant Poshpouch

I am a "research-aholic" in general and have researched many different baby products over the past 5 years due to being a mother of 3 and wanting to get the best for the price and not wanting to settle for less... I live in the Northeast US, so it gets really cold and the weather changes frequently and in extremes on a daily, if not hourly basis. Anyway, here are the brands I've used/owed and/or researched extensively and the comparisons:
Jolly Jumper Arctic Sneak A Peek Infant Car Seat Cover (JJA)
Jolly Jumper Sneak A Peek Infant Car Seat Cover (JJ)
Summer Infant Poshpouch (SP)
Cozy Car Seat Microfiber and Fleece Cover (CC)
Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) (yes the CC and the BC are different)
JJ Cole infant/original bundle me (JJC)
JJ Cole toddler bundle me (JJT)
OK...
Jolly Jumper Artic (JJA) is awesome, I would rate it the best one out of all. It is a "shower cap" cover for the infant car seat, it has a blanket inside that you can velcro closed to keep the baby's face covered and warm and you can velcro it "up" to stay open when the baby when you put the baby in the car out of weather's elements... It has two zippers which allow you to open the carrier and easily access the baby, keep the baby from over heating and you can also "flap the middle piece down to keep it completely off the baby. The blanket is a nice feature of this cover. You can use it alone with the flap open on a warmer day and you can also "flap" it down away from the baby as well when not in use. Another nice thing about the blanket is you can wrap it around baby to keep them warm, there is enough material on both sides to do this.. Some reviewers of this and other carriers stated that there were gaps around the handle, this is true of mostly all the shower cap covers except you can adjust it to cover these gaps. Also you can take the wrap around blanket and cover the baby as well as feed it through the gaps on the sides to close them if the cover cannot be adjusted to fit around the bottom to close that area. The outer portion is nylon, like a jacket and it is waterproof, the fleece is substantial and it keeps the infant very, warm. This is an expensive carrier but well worth the money! This is top notch!
Jolly Jumper is just like the carrier described above but without the attached blanket. Again, overall an excellent carrier. It is not that much less than the JJA and no matter what climate I would pay the extra money for the JJA just because you can use the blanket alone with the flap of the outer portion of the JJ out and it is a very nice feature to have in the cover.
Summer Infant Poshpouch (SP) is another "shower cap" cover for the infant carseat but it has an opening in the top with no flap to velcro over baby's face. I owned this before the JJA and here are some differences. It is a much thinner material, the fleece isn't as substantial and the outer portion is not waterproof or nylon but a fleece polyester material. The opening is rather large and I felt as though breezes/wind would go right through the hole and it is definitely not as effective in making the baby too warm, esp. in colder conditions. To remedy this problem I put a blanket on under the cover and the baby seemed better on 30 degree days from the house to the car but not to take a walk. I also had to put a hat and make sure the blanket was high on baby to cover the baby's neck or use something to make sure baby's neck was covered due to the hole being so big. It also gaps more on the side then the JJA and the JJ. The SP only has one zipper to unzip the baby when inside. And when you want to keep the baby inside the carrier, you really have to take the whole thing off to leave the baby in to not be covered. And it is hard to get the baby out without pushing it aside.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ******* PLEASE SEE***** it was very scary when I discovered that when you place it on correctly and put it over the infant carseat, I would put my infant carseat into the holster and it WOULD NOT, I repeat WOULD NOT lATCH INTO THE BASE!!!! There was no way of knowing this unless you checked, (I check my baby each time to make sure the carseat is latched in just by habit), but it would not even be partially latched just completely unlatched.... I felt this was unacceptable.... Even when I tried to adjust it by pulling the bottom portion where the baby's feet would be up, the cover b/c of the elastic would just come up, bunch and be partially off with a gap under the baby's feet so I feel this carrier is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I paid 2/3 the cost of the JJA.
Cozy Car Seat Microfiber and Fleece Cover (CC) A lot of people think this is the BC and it is the same price but it is not. It is a cheap spin off of the BC even though it is the same price. The fabric is less substantial, it is honestly more like the SP. Not worth the money and don't make the mistake of getting it.
Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) Is BABY'S COZY WORLD uses a type of microfiber called microsuede, which is a soft fabric made from synthetic fibers that are an imitation to suede. It seems like it is a good bang for your buck coming in around twenty dollars which is half of the JJA. The only thing is if you live in a really rainy climate I don't think it would be as waterproof being microsuede as the JJ or the JJA material. Another reviewer stated that the BABY'S COZY WORLD is reversible (which I am not sure how it can be reversible deeming that it does have a flap that goes over the infants face like the CC, JJA and JJ)?
The reviewer also stated that the BC has pacifier clips, which would be a nice feature for toys as well and that is is very thick for all weather and it is the same price as the CC. ONE THING that many reviews said about the CC and the BC is that the zippers can be dangerous b/c they line up in the same place as a newborns eyes and have the potential for scratching the cornea. With the JJ and the JJA the zippers do not seem as though they would reach this far. Maybe the CC and the BC have larger zippers that might spin around in opposite directions esp if it is "reversible". It does have the zippers on both sides to unzip and expose the infant nicely when inside and do not want the infant to overheat while in the carrier. For the price this seems like it would be a good carrier as well and I would rate the the BC a close second and very comparable to the JJ but does not have a blanket feature like the JJA.
JJ Cole infant/original bundle me (JJC)is what I owned with my first child who was a premature infant and I only got about 7 months of use out of this cover. That is why I got the toddler JJ cole after. It is a different type of carrier than all the others that are reviewed above being that it is not a shower cap style it has an underside to the carrier that is placed under the harness straps and then a layer goes over the baby and is zippered down and around the bottom. FIRST OF ALL THIS IS DANGEROUS, which I never knew as a new mom, and why they even CAN SELL them as carseat covers is beyond me because if you get into an accident it compresses under the infant because of the added bulk between the seat and the child, (it is like the infant is wearing a jacket) so there is more room in between the harness and the infant deeming it unsafe. Also, JJ cole now has the lite JJ cole and says that it passed crash tests but The Bundle me Lite's openings do not come anywhere near the hip straps of the harness... meaning they would be improperly routed, thus creating slack. Here is a picture: No certified carseat technicians recommend this aftermarket product for the carseat. Any many if not all carseat companies state if an aftermarket product is used "inside" the carseat between the harness and baby it will void all guarantees for safety. NOT GOOD.
JJ Cole toddler (JJT) Had this mostly with my first child and second and would not use now d/t the same reason above with the JJ. But it could be nice with a stroller. The only thing is you do need a hat and something to cover the baby's neck as well.
In summary:
#1
The Jolly Jumper Artic (JJA) wins the race, I am very very please with this product, esp the blanket aspect that I think is well worth it!

The Baby's Cozy World Microfiber & Fleece Carrier Cover (BC) (but make sure it is the BC and not the CC when you purchase it) comes in a close second esp for the price!

The JJ is basically the same product as the JJA but without the blanket....

This is the best car seat cover on the market. Some others that I've tried are too large and unwieldy to fit on the car seat. This one easily slips on and off and keeps the baby warm. It also washes very well. Don't waste your money on more expensive covers, this one is the best!Best Deals for Summer Infant Poshpouch
I received mine as a gift and I love it, it fits snug around my Chicco car seat, and keeps my baby nice and warm when carrying her to and from the car.Honest reviews on Summer Infant Poshpouch
After a full winter in Wisconsin with almost daily use, I have to say this thing is a life saver. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but it covered my baby's car seat super well! I have the Chicco car seat and this fit well. My baby is a little smaller, but the way this thing fits over her head isn't entire how it's pictured on Amazon. Her head and a large portion of her torso can be seen through the hole, so the wind still kind of howls into this thing. I put a blanket over the portion that isn't covered and she is happy. The hood of the car seat doesn't quite cover the sides, but it still works out fine for those in between times with cold wind from when I transfer her from shopping car to car and elsewhere. I think for the price, the functionality and warmness of this pouch is wonderful.Reviews of Graco SnugRide 30 Infant Car Seat - Brayden
It's perfect! I love Graco products and this car seat is the perfect color for my baby girl! I purchased a Evenflo seat for less money and returned it because it didn't feel as safe as Graco.
The only downsides are that the buttons on the handle are a little hard to press, and the harness is also a little hard to release.

I wanted a new carseat because my old Graco weighed about 10 lbs.. This one weighs 7.5, which makes a big difference! I needed a seat that would work with my extra base and Graco frame because I wasn't about to buy new ones for baby #3. So that is why I chose this carseat. So far I really like it, the colors are great and it's light and the fabric is so easy to clean. The only downsides are that the buttons on the handle are a little hard to press, and the harness is also a little hard to release.

We survived a Highway rollover accident this summer with our 5 year old in this seat.
You never think it will happen to you.
And Suddenly in an explosion of violence it is happening.
Several of the emergency personnel independently commented on the Lifesaving aspect of his seat.
They also emphasized the word "Booster" should be completely eliminated from Marketing materials for Children car seats.
A Five point harness is the best way to keep a child stabilized in the physical violence of an accident.
The "booster"s essentially cut children in half internally.
Tell all of your friends.
We survived.
And we will never use anything but a five point harness.
There are models up to 65lbs and then you can switch to another product that goes up to 80lbs.
This seat saved his life.
The bag is fairly large (think bowling bag) but, there is a shoulder strap on the bag that does not show in the online pictures. The 9lb does not feel like 9lb far less weight than a Graco infant seat. I'm 5'3" and it's easier to carry than my diaper bag over my shoulder. I usually take my Maclaren Quest when we use public transportation or a cab and I am able to hang the bag/booster on my Maclaren handlebars without it getting in the way of walking.
I read the instruction booklet front to back before our first trip in a cab. WOW! It really does install quickly try 60 seconds or less! AND it is a very tight fit even using a lap belt. The main reason it is such an easy install is because the seat back is soft and folded down when you are installing the seat you have more visibility to what you are doing and accessibility to the seat belt. After you have a tight fit you secure the back using the top tether. I found most Chicago cabs have the top tether anchor even the cabs that look older. Every cab is different so to be able to install in such little time is amazing. I also feel this car seat is definitely safe enough to use when we travel and rent a car.
The only thing I wish this product had is backpack straps on the bag but, it's a minor gripe. This is a must-have if you live in a large city where you take cabs. If you own a car and are just looking for an everyday car seat this is probably not for you. The child sits very upright and will have no place to sleep I'd purchase another 5 point harness booster or car seat if I owned a car.
The slim design works well in our Civic backseat, making it possible for a third passenger to fit between two carseats (and that passenger will have even more room once we've got two of these "Go" seats rather than one "Go" and one bulky conventional 5-point harness carseat).
My kids are now old enough they rarely fall asleep in the car, but when my son did he never mentioned anything about being uncomfortable. The side wings of the headrest seemed to support his head well. However, since this flexible-back booster conforms completely to the seat of the car, I think the angle of the vehicle seat is probably what causes a child's head to loll forward in some vehicles. Our vehicle's seats do angle back slightly.
Anyway, one of the best things about this seat is how quick and easy it is to get a super snug, tight installation, moreso than with car seats that have a bulky, awkwardly shaped base to them. I never worry that the seat could slide around too much because it has no wiggle room whatsoever once it's in. You can easily see and feel that it's installed correctly--which to me is just as important as the safety features of the seat itself.
The fold-up design is ideal for travel. It does require full LATCH including BOTH the top and bottom tether anchors (for the 5-point harness use). If you are renting vehicles when you travel in the U.S. this should not be a problem b/c car rental agencies always have current models or only a few years old. Same with most reputable taxi services. But if we are visiting friends we always check ahead to make sure their cars accommodate. This seat probably wouldn't be the best choice for international travel for this reason. I don't consider this a drawback because this product has so many other benefits that matter for day-to-day use, so I feel it's worth the money we spent. We have "typical" 5-point harness car seats in our van so we know if we travel outside the U.S. we'd either need to take those with us or purchase seats at our destination.
The only other complaint I can think of is it might be nice to add a cupholder. :)
Overall we LOVE this seat and often recommend it to friends.

I LOVE THIS!!! We live in downtown Chicago and do not own a car. We usually use public transportation but, occasionally it's easier to take a cab (e.g. when going to the airport with all the luggage). I have looked EVERYWHERE for a "portable" car seat. Sunshine kids was just too heavy and did not fold small enough and our Safety 1st Tote n' Go (a backboard with a 5 point harness) was difficult to install, our son sat on an angle even when installed properly and overall it did not seem safe. I was a bit skeptical about this product it was a bit pricey for something we will probably only use once a month or so but, my son's safety is priceless. I read the all the reviews I could find and called Safety 1st for more information on installation. I was sold when a NYC woman wrote about installing the seat in less than 90 seconds in cabs; time is precious when you are getting in and out of cabs and horns are honking at you.The bag is fairly large (think bowling bag) but, there is a shoulder strap on the bag that does not show in the online pictures. We purchased this product to travel with as it is light and comes with a travel bag. Unfortunately, for the child seat to work it must be attached to a hook behind the car's seat which not all cars come equipped with, especially cabs in foreign countries. If the car does not have the required hook, the seat is useless as a 5 pnt. restraint booster.Honest reviews on Safety 1st Go Hybrid Convertible Booster
i ended up returning this car seat without ever using it, i did not understand from the produect description that the back was completely flexible, just fabric with no plastic shell. it seems to work by anchoring it over the back of the seat, to hold the headrest portion and five point harness in place, so basically it's just a booster seat with a fabric back to still give you a 5 point harness. i wasn't ready for me 3.5 year old to be that exposed.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Safety 1st Go Hybrid Convertible Booster
Title pretty much says it all. We bought the original Safeguard Go product about 2.5 years ago and it has been great. We are now planning to buy a second one in the new Safety 1st version for our younger child who is now big enough for it.The slim design works well in our Civic backseat, making it possible for a third passenger to fit between two carseats (and that passenger will have even more room once we've got two of these "Go" seats rather than one "Go" and one bulky conventional 5-point harness carseat).

Review of Bugaboo Cameleon Adapter for Select Chicco Car Seats
I was happy to receive my Bugaboo car seat adapter today. I was most excited to find that it did indeed fit our 6 year old Bugaboo Frog. Assembly was a breeze only having to insert and tighten 4 screws. The car seat goes onto the adapter easily and locks securely. When the release button on the car-seat is activated it comes off easily as a well designed latch should. I give this product 5 stars for both design and function.

Imagine your baby sleeping in her car seat then you have to wake her up to get her out. With the adapter just take out the entire Chico carseat with baby inside insert it into this adapter and Tah Dah! Magic! Baby still sleeping! FYI the carseat does interlock with the adapter. Buy it! The same time you get your carseat!Wish I got it sooner.Best Deals for Bugaboo Cameleon Adapter for Select Chicco Car Seats
The adapter is great, assembles in less than a minute or two and allows you to easily snap your car seat in and out of the stroller. My only warning (which I didn't know when I bought it) is that the instructions say the weight limit per child per car seat on the stroller is 17 pounds (using this adapter). My four month old is already 16 pounds but Bugaboo doesn't recommend moving to the upright seat till around 6 months or full neck control. I'm still glad I bought the adapter but concerned what I'll do for the one month where he's outgrown this adapter but isn't ready for the upright seat.Honest reviews on Bugaboo Cameleon Adapter for Select Chicco Car Seats

OK... I have to say that it's truly bizarre that there are no reviews for this seat anywhere!
I bought it based on the crash testing ratings(tops in the German list and their standards are high) and because it looks cool.
My daughter loves it and says it's comfy. The seatbelt never touches her neck. It's very solid feeling... easy to reach across to fasten the seat belt... The cup holder is pretty weird... you have to take it off if someone needs to sit next to her.
I had a Graco Booster that my daughter folded like a rag doll in when she slept... so off I went to find a booster that reclines.
We've had this a couple of months now... sleeping is great, she still flops forward if she falls asleep in a funny position but I am able to adjust her then her head will stay back the rest of the time.
We got the Chili color and it's great! Hot pink, apricot and a dark plum... very stylish. I'm going to get a second one soon to replace her Britax in our other car.
You should go to their website and pick England as your country... they have a movie there that shows assembly etc. The British seat is a little different, but the movie was helpful to me on putting it together and setting the recline position.
Something important to consider when choosing a car seat the 'Which' crash tests showed not all seats are safe enough. Their representative said:
'It's important to stress that any child seat is better than no seat at all, but some of the seats we've tested are shockingly bad. The most shocking thing of all, though, is that they are deemed safe under minimum standards and are being sold to parents who trust these guidelines. The standards simply aren't tough enough to assure adequate protection in crashes and need to be raised.'
'Which' also found that backless car seats aren't safe, as the child's head and body are flung against the car door in a side impact crash. If you've looked at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety 'Best Bets', be aware they only assess how well the seat belt fits, not how the child fares in a crash, which is why they include several backless car seats. I bought it for my 4 year old for the good safety ratings. It gets a 'Best Buy' rating from 'Which', a UK consumer organisation that looked at performance in crash tests with child-sized dummies, and 'Stiftung Warentest', a German consumer organisation. I only wish it had LATCH, so I wouldn't have to strap it in when my daughter's not in it. Still, it's a small inconvenience for a safe car seat at this price.Something important to consider when choosing a car seat the 'Which' crash tests showed not all seats are safe enough.
