I bought this last minute (thank you Amazon Prime) when I realized that I wanted to bring a car seat along for my 16 month old daughter on a red eye flight. This particular trip I was travelling alone, and knowing that she sleeps better in her carseat didn't want to have a stroller, roller bag, diaper bag, and a car seat to lug around the airport. We have a Graco 360 and it fits very well with this unit. We are expecting again in May so I sprung for this model as it will allow us to use the Chicco Keyfit infant car seat as well (with the attachment that is sold separately for about $30). Bottom line is I was able to easily transport my daughter around the airport, and quickly detach the car seat on the jet way and gate check the Travelmate before boarding the plane. One pro over the stroller is that I can detach the straps on that lock the car seat on, and keep her inside of the car seat until I was ready to unbuckle her, pick her up and board the plane. When using a stroller, you have to remove your child while collapsing the stroller which can be a bit of a pain with younger children as they are sometimes already a bit wary of the new environment, tired, cranky, and would rather be held (which is challenging when collapsing some strollers). This made a more stressful solo airplane ride much easier for myself and my child!. For this particular trip we don't really need a stroller, but it could easily replace a stroller for a shopping trip to a mall (wouldn't recommend for going to the beach, theme park, etc.) Only downside is that the rear wheels sometimes catch on a small screw that sticks out (I didn't spend a ton of time double checking installation so it may be human error) but a simple straightening out resolves this problem easily.

I bought this for my daughter to make her move to Kakakhstan easier...She loved it! The 6 hour layover was easy for her 2 year old as he was contained comfortably in his car seat.Best Deals for Go-Go Babyz Travelmate Deluxe, black
Gave 3 stars because I don't want to say the product is good or bad since we could not actually use it for the following reason. This review addresses only the packaging that the product came in -while the product looks good and we were very excited to purchase it, we could not use it because it came to us broken. The GoGo Babyz Travelmate Deluxe shipped by Amazon does not come in its own box (for the price, one would have thought there would be a product box). The product simply came in a large Amazon box with some brown packing paper placed on the bottom of the box. The large box contained no other insulation. None was placed around the product; none was placed on the sides or the top. Not surprisingly the product arrived damaged. Made out plastic, one of the plastic parts came broken off. We are returning. So disappointed as we are going on a trip in few days. Hopefully Amazon will not make this mistake for future customers purchasing this product.Honest reviews on Go-Go Babyz Travelmate Deluxe, black
I love this! I use it when I take my daughter to daycare, the store... I prefer this over her stroller. It's so easy to use. I purchased the locking device too through GoGoBabyz store, so I wouldn't have to use the straps. It's jus like putting her carseat into the base. Best kept secret. Everybody comments about it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Go-Go Babyz Travelmate Deluxe, black
I traveled with our 3 month old baby on two long-haul flights with a connection both ways, and this product was the only thing that made it possible. We bought a seat for baby, which meant she had to travel in her carseat. The only problem is that the car seat is so heavy that I can barely lift it to carry from car to house, let alone carry it through multiple airports while juggling a rolling suitcase and handbag. And I really didn't want to take our stroller and have to gate check it, because I heard that's the a great way to get your stroller damaged and of course the warranty doesn't cover airline damage. So I checked our stroller in its travel bag and used the car seat on the Go-Go Babyz in the airport. I read loads of reviews and bought this one based on the reviews it sounded more sturdy and less likely to let me down mid-way through our trip, or to fall apart and send my baby tumbling through the airport. It took some figuring out to get our carseat (Maxi Cosi Prezi) attached to it, but we did not have any major problems with it it's well made and once the car seat is attached (it straps at four points two on each side) it seems pretty secure. One strap came unfastened at one point during our journey, but the other three held the carseat in place so well that I didn't notice the unfastened one till I was taking the carseat off. I rolled the Go-Go Babyz in one hand and my rolling carry on suitcase in the other with a handbag on my shoulder. It was really smooth and the only thing that slowed me down was having to answer questions from several people about where I bought the Go-Go Babyz! The only problem I had with it was taking the car seat off while in the plane. The Go-Go Babyz is just barely slim enough to roll down the airplane aisle and if the plane is slightly smaller (like the regional jet we had on part of one trip) it won't fit, so you have to take your carseat off and carry it and the Go-Go Babyz down the aisle which was impossible for me with a small rolling suitcase and a handbag as well. Luckily there were very nice flight attendants who helped me with my luggage. Taking the carseat off the Go-Go Babyz takes a couple of minutes too, which doesn't sound like a big deal until you have a line of people waiting to board behind you. It would be really great if the car seat could lock into the Go-Go Babyz the way it locks into its base or into our stroller. But the way it's made now means that almost any infant car seat could work with it, and I guess if they made it to lock in, it would need need some kind of adapter system. In any case, I'm glad I bought it. It was really helpful for our trip and I would definitely recommend this to parents traveling alone with their babies.
