Our family car is a 2011 Honda Accord and one of the benefits is a large interior. This car seat doesn't hog the entire backseat (like the Costco one my mom bought from Target for her Jetta). I was pleased to see that our daughter, now 14 months, sits comfortably rear facing. I made the mistake of giving her a juice box, which of course she squeezed out everywhere. It was a few weeks before I got the motivation to tackle the job of removing the cover and tossing it in the wash. When I finally did it washed out without any pre-treating and I followed the instructions and allowed it time to hang dry. We had the local fire station install the car seat for us, so I was hesitant to remove it and get it back in safely for our daughter. By the way the fire station used a pool noodle that was cut into thirds to fill the gap between the base of the car seat and the actual seat. I thought that it was incredibly ingenious. No wiggly rear facing install for our baby girl. Anyways the car seat was a pain in rear to remove and re install, but isn't that the point? You want something that is going to be secure. Overall we both like the way it looks, how it fits in our back seat, how easy it is to wash, how secure it stays, and how it is comfortable enough for our daughter to take a nap on a long drive.

I bought this carseat for my 16 month-old who was getting too big for her infant seat, but still not big enough to front face. This seat was difficult to install using the latch system, until I finally watched a YouTube video. The video shows to peel back the cover and pull the latch strap to the inside of the seat while rocking it side-to-side to tighten the Latch system. Worked like a charm and the seat is tightly installed now! If this detail would have been in the instructions, wouldn't have had any trouble.

I loved this car seat when it came. It's beautiful, my son loves it, it seems sturdy, but I'm not happy with how it tightens. I can't get the anchors tight enough. The car seat is not in there as tight as it should be and moves easily from side to side. It made me so nervous that I put the seat belt through it to have an additional anchor. The straps don't seem to tighten enough either. I get him in there nice and tight, but it does take far more work than his first seat did. Also, the buckle is easy to unbuckle once you get the hang of how it works. At first, you're going to struggle with it before you figure it out.

Straps all adjust easily and seems solid once child is secured.

Only complaint might be the base doesn't seem to be made at correct angle for chair to be automatically "leveled", need to support front end with rolled up towel. Not that big a deal.

This is so much more comfy and adaptable than our other car seats. I have a Britax and a Cosco that are both convertible and the Britax is nice, but this one can have more or less added cushion if desired. It stays in place better than the Cosco.
