This is a nice car seat. I was concerned about the buckle latch system since there were several negative comments about it, but I figured I would give it a shot anyway because I got the Combi Cosmos stroller and wanted the infant seat to make it a travel system. Well, I have to say there is ZERO issue with the buckle. I can buckle each side, one at a time, no problem. The crotch buckle part does not adjust however (it adjusts via the shoulder straps) so you do need to use two hands when buckling in baby. I suppose you could technically do it one handed, but it's just easier to use two. I don't need to line anything up in order for the buckle to buckle, so Combi probably fixed that issue after all the complaints.

The only thing I do not like about the car seat is the canopy. Instead of having two adjustable sides (like the Graco models for example), the canopy has only one adjustable side and the other side is secured to the back of the seat (it's removable, it's just non-adjustable). The reason this bothers me is because I can't position the canopy to block the sun when the sun is at a rising/setting angle. The canopy also only extends to the middle top of the car seat too (so almost to the carry handle bar). Not a deal breaker, just annoying and also why I didn't give a full 5-star review.

I really like how light the car seat is and how easy it is to carry. It has a nice ergonomic feel to itand if you're an older parent (like me) or you have back problems, you'll love carrying this seat. ...well, maybe love is too strong a word, but it doesn't suck quite as much as other car seat models I've used.

The car seat fits nicely into the Cosmo lightweight stroller. I love the graphite color (easier to "hide" dirt). The fabric is soft, and there is lots of padding to keep baby comfortable and safeall of it is removable and washable too.

Spend a little more and purchase this car seat! It's super easy to install and light weight, I purchased the matching Combi stroller and I just love it. The neutral color can work for a boy or girl and the straps are easy to adjust for your growing baby. This was one of the first things I purchased and I couldn't be happier!

Best Deals for Combi Shuttle Infant Car Seat

This is the best I could find for high height limit without taking up the whole car. This fit alright in a Subaru impreza and a passenger could sit in front of the seat. The anti-rebound bar is slightly inconvenient in that it can catch my baby's legs, but not a big issue if you just pay attention when removing the baby. The canopy is large enough but kind of flimsy not a big deal, but an area for improvement. This model does not have the puzzle buckle that everyone hates. The base is easy to install, I love the push on/press to release LATCH connectors, and it has a more upright seat position for older babies. I have tall, skinny boys and this is a good seat for us.

This is the best, I get compliments all the time on how nice it looks and how light it is, even the pediatrician admired it!! If you need a car seat look no further!!! The best thing is that it is light weight and I also really like the light weight stroller that makes the travel system.

I adore this car seat. It is not only safe for my daughter but very stylish as well. The material is sooo soft. I haven't had any issues with the 3 point harness. Because of the shoulder cushions it actually makes it easier to pull them together without getting the straps all turned around the wrong way. I recently had to take everything off and wash it and it was actually very easy to do. I washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and put it right back together. I purchased the stroller as well and the car seat just snaps in and we are off. Now about the weight...I wouldn't necessarily call this a light weight car seat but I haven't come across one yet that was. The shade is not as sturdy as I would like and that is reason for the 4 stars.
