I purchased this seat for our grandson, on a request by our daughter. Today, our grandson has graduated out of his newborn seat and into this one. Our daughter took it, actually just this morning, to a Police-sponsored car-seat safety inspection/installation. The officers who inspected and helped her install this in her vehicle mentioned that this is literally one of the very best seats, and one officer had, in fact, purchased this seat for her own baby's use. Wonderful testimonial to the reputation of the Britax!
It is a wonderfully comfortable, safe car seat; what sold us, in large part, were the side air bags, and it's reputation as a sturdy and ultimately safe car seat. I wouldn't want anything less for my first grandchild, and any future babies will get one of these as well.
