The Mia Moda, Navy is very unique looking infant car seat. Modern design. I was looking for a unit with dark colors because these tend to get filthy with every day handling. The only other reason I purchased this car seat was the price. You only use the infant car seat for a short time so i did not want to spend an extravagant amount for the baby to outgrow it.

I found that the car seat is easy to install, very clear instructions, I like the fact that there is a level on the side of the unit which shows if you have it at the correct angle. The weight is not bad with the kid in it; however it was still to heavy for me as I had a c section. The straps were very difficult to adjust. I ended up having to remove the infant cushion completely as it took up too much room and made my kid uncomfortable and he only weighs 7lbs, the infant cushion is for smaller babies I assume. The sun shield or visor is awkward and has come apart several times while trying to cover my baby. This an okay unit but if you are going for looks only and can find it at a great price, go for it!

**NOTE: I have returned to comment. I had to purchase a second car seat because my 10 week old outgrew this one. It's too narrow for large infants, the straps do not adjust enough, minimal leg room and not compatible with many strollers. I do not recommend this car seat.

Purchased this four months before my grandchild is due. My son and daughter in law like it very much. Pretty trendy car seat for the younger parents however once your child hits about 22 pounds another seat will need to be purchased.
