I have had this stroller and car seat for 6 months. I got the entire system for $250.00 at Target. First off, I would love this stroller IF it had air filled wheels. You could never run in this strollerever. Secondly, the wheels are just terrible for gravel, grass, basically any terrain other than hard flooring. I had my son in May and he was extremely hot in this all summer. The material just doesn't breathe well. I think it's a nice first stroller for someone, but I'm currently in search for something else! Some things I don't like about it are obviously the wheels... I also hate that the "sun" shade is so small. It never shades the sunever. The car seat does not fit well in the top of carts, but I just learned to deal with that. I also hate how small the bottom basket is. I do have a big diaper bag, but it doesn't fit in the bottom. I DO like the handlebar & parent tray w/ cup holders and I think the straps are easy to use both on the carseat and the stroller.Friday, January 17, 2014
Discount Eddie Bauer Trail Hiker 3 Wheel Travel System RED
First of all, to the reviewer that said this is cheaper at Target...LISTEN TO THEM! We got ours at Target for at least $100 less than this. As far as the product goes, The car seat is a little bit heavy, but it works for babies as small as 4 lbs. Our son was a preemie, and we thought we would need to buy a different car seat when he was released from the NICU, but this ended up working out for us! The major con is that the "folding" of the stroller part doesn't do much...it is still gigantic with a big wheel sticking out, and we struggle to fit it into the trunk of our car. Additionally, the straps on the car seat sometimes get stuck and will not loosen, but we have never had a problem tightening them. I do like that the base comes with the travel system, and it is fairly easy to install.
