You could use anything to do the same job, but this is the easiest way. For a mysterious reason car seats are never leveled and I used to put a folded towel underneath. But then I bought this item and I've been happy with it. Even If in the middle seat the leveler doesn't fit between the two seat belts.

It's a swimming pool noodle without the hollow center...seriously, $.99 at the dollar tree, or $5+ on Amazon. Only someone who has money to burn would buy this. It works well, but with a long noodle, cut into two, you can boost and fit to your particular seat, which is better for us, since this is too short to hold up plastic sides.

This really helped us level our carseat in my Chrysler 300M, where the seat tilts too far in. The only downside is that it almost squishes too much, but for this price and with a little maneuvering, great buy!

This thing is huge! It is too big for our needs, so it was kind of a wasted purchase. I can see where it would help some people though.
