After trying all the 'usual' type neck pillows for my son and not really finding one that would stay in place, I was determined to get my daughter something that worked. After months of using rolled up cloths and a mini c-shaped pillow, I took the plunge. I liked the look of this support straightaway, the price was reasonable and the colour was nice.
It arrived when she was about 7 months old. It fits perfectly around her neck, tilts her head ever so slightly back so she's resting in a supported position and the 'wings' of the pillow fit cosily around her neck and under her chin. We had to take a long road trip that summer and this pillow was a life saver. She rarely flopped forward and seemed to snuggle into it and remain comfy for every nap. Washes super easily too. I also take it with us when we're out in our stroller and I know she's going to sleep.
Now when we're in the car and it's near a nap time, as soon as I pop this around her neck she tilts her head over onto it and relaxes. I love it. She loves it. I will be buying this for all my friends that have babies. I can't comment as to usefulness for a newborn, but as the parent of a now-12 month old, I wouldn't leave home without it.

We have a daily commute to daycare of about 25 minutes which is just long enough for my baby to get in a morning cat nap. I ordered the Brica Koosh'N Infant Neck Support hoping this would keep his head from slumping forward while napping. The neck support stays in place until he starts wiggling around, then the front of the pillow starts to separate, leaving a gap for his head to fall through when he does fall asleep. Also, the pillow does not support the weight of his head. It might work better for a newborn who 1) doesn't really move around yet and 2) has a lighter head. We have a 4 week old infant and for the past 3 weeks, going anywhere in the carseat has been a nightmare! Her little head would just flop onto her chest and she woke up so cranky and uncomfortable as soon as we got onto surface streets and off the freeway. She screamed when we put her into the carseat and barely slept on the freeway. It's made going anywhere really difficult! Our first child didn't have this issue. Her head flopped too, but she didn't care. Our child has a really strong neck too, but her head still flops after a few minutes. This product has been a lifesaver! We put her into the carseat this morning and for once, she didn't cry! She was awake and happy. She fell asleep BEFORE we got on the freeway and stayed awake the whole time we were out and about and didn't wake up even after we got home! It's a miracle! This support cushion is so soft and comfy. Her little head leaned on it like a nice, fluffy pillow. It is a bit bulky around the bottom part and her head isn't quite big enough to fill the upper part, but she'll grow into it. This will make the long drive to grandma and grandpa's house possible! I agree with other reviewers, this product does not solve the problem of the head falling forward, but it is much better than the nothing or using those huge pads on the straps. I have a newborn baby. He is 4 weeks now. My husband and I have been useing this head support for 3 weeks now and we love it! The first car ride home from the hospital I had to hold his head the entire way home so it wouldnt flop around. Then got online figuring they had to have something like this! I thought out of all the head supports I saw I thought this one was the one to get because it actually holds the head up and in place. Because it goes underneath the chin also instead of just the sides like most of them are made. I def would recomend this to anyone!
