I can not say how much use I got out of this fold n' go seat the very first week I had it. It saves me from having to keep my son on my lap everywhere and he enjoys the independence to sit in a "big chair" like the adults do. It folds very flatly and had a handle on the back for easy transportation. And it does not tip over, even when little ones lean forward (or attempt to "jump" out). It's easy to wipe clean and my family loves it. I would highly recommend this product to all other mothers out there as a staple.

One of many lessons I have learned in the 42 years on this earth is that the more expensive item may not necessarily be the best of quality, soley based on the price. This booster seat is everything it said it was. It is durable and easy to set up. It only took under a minute to secure it to a chair. And it has been tested by my 19 month old daughter. Who is real well at testing the durability of a product. "Those terrible twos." Folding it into its travel position is a snap as well. It stays securely closed with the help of one of the chair belts. It is small enough to fit into a suitcase, or duffle bag. In our case, it fits into our cargo hold in our Honda Pilot because it folds flat. And my daughter is very comfortable sitting in it.We choose to bring our own portable high chair and booster seat for all our children always. I wish I had bought this sooner. The ones offered at restaurants are usually not clean. We also do a lot of traveling. These portable devices are so convienient and easy to pack compared to the alternative.
If I had one compliant about this seat is that the fabric is unable to be removed to place in the washing machine. The reason for the four star rating. I rarely give anything a five star rating. Even if I love it. Although, it is easly cleaned with a clean rag with soap and water.
Rest assured, I would not place my children in something I though were not safe or poorly made. I research most products that I buy, especially for my children, thoroughly. I would without a doubt recommend this product to a friend. Although, I would not recommend this product for in home daily use. There are much better booster seats made of hard plastic that are better suited for in home use. If you travel, and eat out often, you must buy this product.
Hats off once again to Amazon. I always choose the cheapest shipping offered (3-5 days). And I always received every item I have ordered from Amazon either on or before the third day and always before the fifth day. In this case, I recieved the booster seat two days after I ordered. The next best shipping availible was two days at double the shipping price. With the shipping cost and tax, this product was still several dollars cheaper than any of our local children/baby stores. You cannot ask for better.
Update 11/03/2012:
As we used this booster seat throughout the summer, we found that this product does not work well with certain types of chairs. Especially outdoor furniture chairs that have a soft bottom, either plastic or mesh material. The product will not stay taunt in these types of chairs. In order to work properly, a hard bottomed chair is necessary. Though, it does not change my opinion or rating of this product. Just be mindful of the chair you are connecting the booster seat to.

The reviewer who wrote that this chair is too bulky must have this chair confused with another one. I mean -it fits in a diaper bag! My MacBook Pro takes up more room. I am seriously impressed with this chair which requires no inflation and has so far attached to every dining chair I have tried it with. We took our 1.1 year old daughter to China and was not at all sure what kind of high/booster chairs would be available along the way and once there, and this turned out to be an excellent travel booster. It worked great for great grandma's house (which had no high/booster chair at all) and all kinds of restaurants (which had an assortment of high chairs but mostly without the necessary restraints for our squirmy little one.) It folds down really flat (this is not a bag and does not have space to carry anything else, but that was just what we wanted since we already had a diaper bag), takes up hardly any room, and sets up and packs up quickly, and easily adjusts to most kind of chairs. The only kind of chair this does not work well with is the kind with a rounded seat (the straps slip and are hard to get tight.) A slightly more cushioned top layer would be better for the seat itself, but baby had no complaints. I JUST bought this item (like 1 hour ago) and started researching reviews. I already locked it onto a chair for my 12 month old and it wasn't wobbly at all. There is no place to put wipes/diapers so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. I placed my daughter in it and when she's sitting at the table, she can easily grab food off of her plate. She didn't complain about being strapped in either (a big plus!). It's very slim (the pictures are true!) and I look forward to putting up the clunky Fisher Price highchair we currently use. Plus, we can take this ANYWHERE! No more using high chairs that we have to cover for fear of germs! I will update my review after more use!UPDATE: It's been almost 2 years since we purchased this item and we are still using this chair! My little one is about to be 3 in May and she still fits in perfectly. We rarely bring this to public places; it's use is for the home and any vacations we might take. But another great benefit of this item is that you can hose it off when it gets too messy from independent eaters. I love how guests in our home NEVER see a high chair because this blends in so well to our breakfast table.
