Bought this for my 3rd child. Why? Because it was the cheapest one. It doesn't appear to be any less safe than the more expensive ones. It's just as heavy and a pain to carry with a baby inside as the more expensive ones too. It does the job it's intended to do, and appears to be very durable. No problems with the base at all. Cute print but I put a cute cover on it because I like grey tones.
