This mirror is definitely the best out there. It has the biggest mirror available. It is very clear and not warped or foggy. It has multiple attachment options.
However, it is best used with a headrest. It has an optional way of using it in the middle seat. Unfortunately, this method instructs you to use a rolled towel along with some strings and a safety pin provided. I've rigged it to work, but it took a lot of work and it still gets bumped or moved fairly often. I just wish they could come up with a better system for the middle seat.
Regardless, I still highly recommend this mirror. It is the best you will find.
UPDATE 2/8/08:
I finally became so sick of it flopping forward and backward with the towel in the middle position that I decided to rig it my own way. I looped the ties through the bear and the strings on the towel. I then tied each end of the ties to the head rest on either side of the middle seat. It works beautifully now! It doesn't budge at all!

This is a great mirror with excellent visibility for your infant's rear-facing car seat As other reviewers have said, it also has a very simple and effective attachment system, particularly if your seat has a headrest. However, you should note the obvious before buying it: the giant animal head will significantly reduce your visibility through your car's read window if you attach it in the center seat. I drive a Prius which has fairly limited visibility through the rear window to start; with this monster installed on the center headrest, I can't see out the back very well at all.
I'm strongly considering decapitating my dog-themed model, but I should probably think about the potential psychological impact that this might have on my infant first...

I have the monkey version of this mirror and it is the ONLY one I have found that you can actually see your child in without straining. All of the others at Target, Babies R Us, Walmart... are fuzzy. You spend too much time trying to focus and not enough time with your eyes on the road. With a quick glace, you can see clearly. It sounds stupid to say it's the only mirror I can see out of... but it is true. All the others are useless. My son now sits facing the front and loves to mac at himself in his monkey mirror.Honest reviews on BearView Infant Mirror
This is a must-have for any newborn baby that ever travels in the car. It is a very clear mirror that allows you to safely peek at the baby as you are driving. We bought one for my car and later had to buy another for my husband's SUV because he constantly remarked, "I can't see what he's doing! Did you buy me that mirror yet?"
Baby also loves to look at himself in the mirror for at least 15 minutes at a time before dropping off to sleep. He does not get fussy in the car anymore.
