We noticed there were no reviews for this product, but have purchased other Evenflo booster seats and been very happy with them in the past. After my son looked at a few, he liked the way this one looked the best as well as Evenflo Amp Performance No Back Booster Car Seat, Orange for our other car. Our daughter decided to go with Evenflo Big Kid AMP No Back Booster Car Seat Pink but that price has increased from $25 to $45 at time of review and was no longer offering Prime. We like to let both of them pick out what they want, since it is a big step for them, going into a "big kids" seat. After reading all the reviews on the booster for my daughter, it seemed like the best option (and price) for us to choose as well. We were one of the 5 star reviewers on that product and after receiving this product we will be the first of what will probably be many 5 star reviews as well. All 3 styles of the Evenflo AMP no back booster seem to me like they are exactly the same, they just have different colors to appeal to different children. This and the "big kid" booster both have the same weight and height restrictions and look to be the same size in the car. Now onto specifics for this product.

Such a simple design and well built product. The booster fits nicely in both cars (one almost bucket seats, the other a flat 3 person seat). My son has no problem getting in and buckling up with it. The seat belt is in a nice location for him across his chest. He likes that he has the arm rests, but his favorite thing is the elastic holders on the sides. I say holders and not cup holders because he uses it for many things. Usually he has a water bottle on one side and then a toy on the other. The favorite thing for my kids that fit perfect is all the flash cards they love to buy and look at with each other. The seat has not got dirty yet, but I did mess with it and found that the fabric is easily removable to wash and goes back on easily. There's not too much else to say about this product.

Overall, I think that Evenflo offers a great product for no back car boosters, just let your kid choose their color and check to see which is priced best.

I bought one of these since I have a relative who is not yet 4' 9" and she is sometimes a passenger. This booster seat gets points for looking cool (which is important when it is being used by an older child) and being simple to use, but it is pretty hard. The padding feels like it is maybe 1/3" of open cell foam and after that it is plastic. I am going to have to add something extra to pad the seat since it is just too hard. Additionally they supply a seat belt retainer thing, but there is no good place to stow it away when not in use (probably something that would easily get lost or left behind if moving the seat from car to car). The instructions show another model with a compartment for it, but mine did not have that. Evenflo could have done much better with this product.

My daughter really likes her new booster seat.

It's easy to clean, the padding is adequate, and the seat itself fits well into the back of my car (Mazda 6, midsize sedan) while leaving enough room for a second car seat for my other child and room in between for a third passenger. She understands how to buckle herself and thread the seat belt under the arm for correct positioning, so I can trust her to buckle herself.

I also like the drink holders design, it can more easily hold different shaped items since it isn't preformed plastic. She puts toys and other things in there as well.

Product was as described in the listing The seat was simple to install, the padding both comfortable and pretty. My little one was so excited to see it. The adjustment strap holds the belt in place well, but she's struggling with pulling her own belt as it's attachment makes pulling it about more complicated than her 5 years is prepared to handle. We're working on it.

I do recommend this seat for children in need of a backless booster in any of the pattern choices available.
