I purchased an extra base for my son's daycare provider to install in her van. It gives me a lot of peace of mind to know that my son is as safe as can be when riding in the car. The base is perfect but the directions for installation in the car are inadequate. It is for my grandson as my daughter has the Britax B-Safe car seat and stroller. She suggested that we make an appointment with a "car seat technician" at the fire department. The tech informed my husband that all cars manufactured after 2002 have special clips to attach to car seats. It would have been so easy if Britax had included this information and maybe pictures.
