I ordered this as a second base to use for my grandson. The locking clips were in backwards so the carseat would not lock onto the base. This should have been checked before it left the factory.

The care seat base I purchased on Amazon was defective. The metal brackets that are part of the unit were inserted incorrectly, so the base could not hold the car seat it was intended to. I had to call Dorel to get it replaced. Big hassle and very disappointing that Amazon sold a defective unit.
