This is NOT a safe product for kids. The lap belt needs to be touching the child's thighs for the belt to 'catch' on their tiny hip bones in a crash. This product makes the lap belt ride way too high, just look at the product picture. In a crash the belt will go into the child's soft tummy and cause internal injuries, or the child could 'submarine' under the belt and catch their neck instead, or worse... you don't want to know what paramedics see :(. There is not a certified car seat technician worth their salt that would recommend a product like this.

This is not a replacement for a good booster seat. Please go to car-seat.org if you want to learn more about best practices in the car. There are a lot of unsafe products out there... including some car seats and boosters that don't fit well. Don't wait until after you are in that crash... do it now.

At 5'5" I am of average female height. The placement of the shoulder seat belt in most cars causes the belt to inch its way toward my throat as I drive. The Safe Fit seat belt adjuster makes driving much more comfortable and safe; I set the Safe Fit at a comfortable level and the shoulder belt stays put.

I like this so much better than the last seat belt adjuster we had. Our old ones were difficult to put on and they shifted around too much. It made it hard for us to quickly switch the kids into another car and easy for them to wiggle it around in all directions. This is so easy to put on the seat belt that switching cars is not a fiasco. Also, the shape of it makes it so that it stays in place right where it should be to give them the maximum protection. Overall it seems much more convenient and safer than the older versions.

I like the seat belt adjuster, I am an adult and I use it for myself. The label says it is crash tested, but it does not say that adults may use it.

I imagine that using it is safer than not using the seat belt at all, which is probably what I would do. I like that it keeps the belt off of my neck.

I wish it had something that would keep it from slipping off of the seat belt every time I get out of the car.
