It's thin but would be good for mild weather. It doesn't cover the entire face either. Living in Michigan, this isn't thick enough to brave our winters and I thought the flap could stay up but there is no velcro or anything to keep it in place. I give this 4 stars however since it would be perfect for someone who needs it for fall/spring or very mild winters.
I chose to keep the Jumper Jolly. It can cover the entire baby while outside but the top flap has velcro to keep the "sneak a peek" window open. It is also much thicker and more suitable for winter.

I have one of the Graco car seats. The cover is very soft and does its job in keeping the baby warm, but does not fit snuggly like the picture shows. The top of the cover is constantly slipping down and gets on my babies head, which she does not like. I left the sun/wind shade attached to try and keep it off her head. It is aggravating, but it does keep my baby warm. Maybe this would be better if you have a little one. My baby is eight months old and is just about to big for this type of car seat.Best Deals for The First Years Car Seat Cover
Got this for cold WI winter.Pros:
-doesn't go under baby
-can use even when hooked into stroller
can remove the blanket part on days when it is warm without removing the whole thing
-can fit a blanket inside when it gets really cold
Cons:
baby doesn't like it over his face... But who would?
