I bought this for my Britax Advocate and it didn't fit at all. It would not stay in place. I took it off and bought sunshades for all the windows instead.

11 month old boy's mommy: This item is wonderful. I've used the sun shades window pull down things but there would always be a sliver of sunlight that would hit my baby's face. I have also put a blanket over top of his car seat to protect the top of his head, which he would tear down. This item is securely tied to the back of the car seat so he can not tear it down, it also protects him very well from the sun. I love this product & highly recommend it.

This was short lived as its intended use. It was easy to attach and I had no trouble keeping it in place. But the only way for it to provide shade for my rear facing toddler was if I pulled so far forward basically putting it in his face. Not really the product's fault. I ended up using its connector to just hang from the handle above the door. In my mini van, it's just the right length and width to hang on the side blocking the light in his face from there. And I could just slide it out of the way when I opened the door. Every other shade meant for window use had many bad reviews and I wasn't convinced they wouldn't hurt him in a sudden stop or crash. This is light and won't fall out of place since I've used the velcro strap. So while it isn't working the way I thought it would, it's working.

The price is great for a sunshade, but we have yet to see it be effective in a rear-facing seat. It takes some maneuvering to get it back into shape if you undo the Velcro strap. This shade might only work once a forward-facing seat is installed, as in the product picture, so that it can be held in place between the child seat and the car seat.
