All Stokke chairs lock when attached to the stroller with an indicator that turns green when locked. The adapter does lock to the stroller, but there is no lock on the car seat, which maintains in place by gravity, which I did not like. Overall, the adapter is very efficient, the only downside is this extra lock that does not take place.

These are easy to attach and remove from the Stokke.
They hold our Maxi Cosi securely in place.
Having the ability to keep our baby in its car seat while transferring to the stroller has been very convenient.
