I didn't realize until I received my order & began reading the installation manual that this model is only rated for use with the 5-point harness for a child up to 40-lbs. Since my daughter is currently 39-lbs., I am returning this model and will spend the extra money to get a model with a higher weight capacity with the harness.

Aside from that, the seat appeared to be well constructed, and the color was nice. The deep purple color in person is definitely gender-neutral, so don't assume that this booster is primarily for girls. My primary car seat is a Britax, which weighs a ton. I was amazed at being to lift this car seat with one hand. Exactly what I wanted for a "spare" seat --I just wish the harness had a higher weight limit, since I'm not ready to switch my daughter over to a seatbelt yet.

I have two of these carseats for my twins that are almost 3. They love them. I like that they aren't to wide and that the cup holders don't sit on the side of the carseat. I can fit two of these seats and a rear facing convertible carseat for my eight month old in the middle seat of our minivan. They seem comfortable for my kids and they are very happy in them.

Got this as a travel booster so I wouldn't have to lug our heavy Britax Marathon around, especially when traveling by air. I was pleasantly surprised with this booster considering how inexpensive it is.

PROS:

Cheap, but good build quality

Five point harness suitable for airplane travel

Lightweight, great for hauling onto an airplane

Easy to use LATCH system, one-sided adjustment

Great color combo

CONS:

Chest buckle a little hard to open/close, but probably a good thing

I wish LATCH attachments were press buckles, but that would have been too much to ask for at this price point

All in all, this is a great alternative to the more expensive boosters that are available. A Britax booster would have been nice, but I didn't want to plunk down $250+ at this time. Get it.......you won't regret it.

This car seat was our 4th to purchase. We have 3 kids and 2 cars so have made our fair share of contribution to the car seat manufacturers. This was by no means the best, nor the worst we have experienced. My wife if a former NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) RN, and a trained professional in baby seats and car seats. This product met or exceeded ALL her expectations for safety and security. It has proven a very good car seat, fits our 2 yr old nicely and fits the vehicle without any problems. Our only complaints about the product are truly superficial, the safety belts are a little thinner than other products so they tend to twist in the slide latches of the 3 point waist harness. Doesn't create a safety issue, just an occasional annoyance. Only other critique would be that the cup holders are a bit shallow. Wish they were just a fraction deeper to hold taller sippy cups better. Outside of that, a strong 4 star rating. I would buy it again and would recommend this product to others.
