I have been using these for 5 years with no issues and my seats underneath the pads still look great. Some people believe these make your carseat loose and unsafe, but this is not true if you connect your carseat harness to the carseat safety mounts that come standard now days in newer cars. Would buy again.

It does its job pretty well. However, I wish that the connection from the top to the bottom portion wasn't so small. As it is, there's a gap between the top and the bottom that sometimes crumbs and liquids can (and do) still fall between though this happens more with toddler booster seats than full infant car seats.

However, for the most part, as I said, it does protect the seat from most average spills.

Just what was called for when bringing together three grandsons in a brand new car. Only comment was that it would be nice to have a means of securing the back to the seat portion as we transition from car seats to booster seats.
