I read all the reviews for all of the window shades on Amazon and this one seemed to be what we needed. We tried roller shades in my Toyota Corolla S when my son was younger and he had those stretched out and broken in days not to mention they did not cover the whole window and they hung at an odd angle. We then tried the cling film shades from Lands End and even though I could not get them on without bubbles they stuck...until my son peeled them off. They also did not cover the entire window and that little stationary side window could not be covered by either of these shades.
Our new Mazda5 has large second row windows and the sun is right in my 4 year old's face the entire ride around town. He sweats and complains that it's too hot and the sun is burning him. Like I said, I researched on Amazon for hours and I liked the flexibility with the Brica Stretch-to-fit Shades and hoped that they would cover the whole window including the stationary side window. They arrived quickly and I rushed our to the car to try them out. They went up in seconds! Pushed on the spring loaded suction cups and they stuck hard. It took more time to unstick them so that I could reposition a little bit. It's probably not necessary to put them all the way in the corners of the window and in fact by doing that it was hard to get to the little tab that you pull to release them from the glass, but you can still get a finger under them to pop them off if you can't get to the tab. There are little snaps on the ends of the shade fabric so that you can take in slack from an angled window giving you a custom fit, which I love. And yes, it covered the stationary side window, too!
They are blocking out the light great, and it's easy for me to see through while driving. Best part, my son can not pop them off! As with the other shades, you can't roll down the windows with these on, but I have the windows locked so he won't play with them anyway, so not a problem. My only worry about these is with the Southern heat in Georgia that the fabric and elastic on the shades will deteriorate and they will loose their stretchiness(and I will try to remember to update my review if that occurs).
There is only one shade per package and I bought 2, so $26 dollars for shades was a lot (and why I gave these 4 stars instead of 5), but if I had found these before buying the others I would have saved some money. I am thinking these will be the last shades I will need to buy for several years.

I have a Toyota Prius and the back window narrows the closer it gets to the rear end of the car. My son's car seat is right behind the driver's seat and even though our windows are tinted he would still complain about the sun in his eyes. This is great because you place the blue suction cups (which have a very firm grip) at the four corners and the fabric stretches to whatever size it needs too. There are also two little buttons on the two sides that can click together to make the custom fit that much more precise. Like I said, my windows are narrower on the side that's next to the trunk so I snapped the two buttons together and it makes the fabric taut. My son tried to pull this off the second he got in the car (he would always successfully pull off any roller-style we tried within 20 seconds) and this thing stayed put.Best Deals for BRICA Stretch-to-Fit Window Shade
I almost returned this item due to the suction cup problem. One of the suction cups wouldn't stay on the window for more than 2 minutes. Before I started to pack it up for returns, I decided to give it a last try. Here are what I did:
1) I tackled the obvious by cleaning the problematic suction cup and the window with lint free cloth.
2) I also paid attention to where the suction cup landed. I tried to find a spot on the window that have no engraving by the car maker (usually the car maker engraves the window glass information and the car logo onto all windows)
3) Removed all bubble in the area where the suction cup in contact with the window glass by pulling the suction cup (without detaching the suction cup) to move the bubbles to the middle of the suction cup and then push the suction cup back down. Keep doing it for couple of times until all the bubbles are removed.
One of the tricks must be working as the suction cup in question has not been having problem for three days. Where I am living is really hot during summer (easily 100 degrees or above) it doesn't seem to have an effect on the suction so far.
I hope this review helps.

the suction is AWFUL!!!! the concept is there but the execution sucks. No matter how many times i've cleaned the window and try to keep this shade on, each corner would take turns in falling off. I wish I could return this product as I bought 2 but I threw away the packaging. Go for a different product. Do not buy this, waste of money!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for BRICA Stretch-to-Fit Window Shade
We were looking for a sun shade for my wife's 2007 Nissan Sentra. Our toddler sits in the seat behind the driver, and the windows are not tinted. Originally we bought a screen at Wal-mart that you're supposed to cut to obtain a custom fit and then apply directly to the window. This resulted in an uneven look, and the film was difficult to apply smooth without any air bubbles. After doing some research on this site, I settled on the Brica sunshade. This sunshade rocks! It's super easy to install, the suction cups clamp down like none other and it's super easy to custom fit the screen to fit almost any shape and size of car window. The Sentra has a somewhat odd shape (not a perfect square at all) and the Brica handled it like a champ.
Overall, great shade at an awesome price and it looks fantastic. Not to mention it does a great job keeping the sun out of our little one's eyes which is most important!
