The big selling point of the Yezz is that it's very lightweight and can fold down into a compact package that you can then sling over your shoulder. This is definitely true -its light (around 11+pounds) and when folded, looks like a big metal tripod. The design is pretty ingenious and it's definitely carry-able. The Yezz is also incredibly maneuverable (better than almost any other stroller I've tried out) you can steer easily with one hand, and it makes a tight almost 360 degree turn. That, coupled with the Yezz's narrow and compact vertical profile, makes it very easy to maneuver around corners or people. On a smooth stretch of road, it feels like you're practically dancing with the stroller! I was also originally concerned that it might be flimsy, and that the seat would be too "floppy" to properly support my child. However, the frame seems sturdy, and the canopy is stretched taut in such a way that the seat seems comfortable and fits around the baby in a snug hammock-like effect. This is definitely a plus my baby is still a little small for my full-size stroller and tends to slump to one side, the Yezz appears to correct this problem. However, once the ground gets uneven or gravelly, it's a bumpier ride. I did feel that it ended up being less bumpy than I expected, given how light and compact the Yezz is, and my baby didn't seem to mind. I wouldn't suggest using this on sand or extremely rocky roads though. The Yezz has a very nice canopy cover, with a clever drop-down visor that helps cut out even more sunlight. I do wish that there was a mesh "window" in the cover so that you can see your baby though it. The material is a lightweight nylon that seems easy to wipe, and good for warmer weather. You can even switch out the color of your canopy if you'd like, which is a cute customizable option as the Yezz has really gorgeous bright colors that really make it stand out in a crowd.
What I don't like about this stroller -the opening up and folding down motion is EXTREMELY STIFF. This is a major problem for me, since it defeats the whole purpose of being able to handle the stroller one-handed. The instruction videos online makes it seem like it folds out very easily, with just a small push of the leg. NOPE it takes a lot of strength (even my husband had problems) to push the foot bar such that the stroller would latch open. The solution we've found to make it slightly easier (still hard though) is not to use your entire foot on the bar, but only to perch your toes right on the horizontal lower bar (this will make more sense if you actually see the Yezz). For some reason, this changes the angle of the force you exert, which makes the Yezz easier to open. Same difficulties with folding it down -I can't do it with my foot alone, instead, I need to crouch down (with my hand on the "push" button on the handle bar) and push the mechanism close. After you get past that initial push, it's relatively easy to fold down the frame and tuck the canopy away, but wow, it's really quite a chore to get it going. So much for the one-step fold. I really hope that over time and with more use, the mechanism will get looser and make the YEZZ easier to use. Another problem is that the brake (on the right back wheel) doesn't seem very strong in "locking" the stroller in place -you can essentially dislodge the braking mechanism if you start pushing the stroller forward. No storage area, except a pocket at the back, which you can only use for small things and be careful that it doesn't dig into your child's back. I also wouldn't dangle anything off the stroller handles. Another small peeve of mine the Yezz's crotch strap is a fixed length and doesn't adjust -you need to change the shoulder straps to fit your baby. This is somewhat annoying because as your baby grows older, the buckle will have to go lower and lower, and it's a bit of a tight fit.
Overall, I like the stroller enough to keep using it and to put up with the difficulty of opening and closing. But if you're buying for the convenience of the over-the-shoulder carry, and the maneuverability (huge advantages, especially for urban city-dwellers and frequent airplane travellers), just be prepared that getting it open and close is a real hassle. I'll update this review after I've used it for a while to let you know if the stiffness improves!

WOW! Stylish, functional, and lightweight! I truly LOVE this stroller and I wish I would've bought this first instead of wasting my time with the cheap umbrella strollers. This stroller is worth every penny. It pushes like a dream...you could steer it with your pinky finger. I love that you can buy different colors if you get bored of the color or it gets too dirty. You just clip the new "colored" part onto the frame. It is easy to set up out of the box as it comes assembled. The color is a true aqua. In my opinion perfect for a boy or girl. I also like the fact that the wheels don't get worn down easily by rough pavement or stones. Great purchase!Best Deals for Quinny Yezz Stroller - Blue Loop
We received a Quinny Yezz as a gift about a month ago. It's an attractive, very light-weight stroller that is easy to maneuver. However, I had a really difficult time opening and closing the frame, especially if I was wearing sandals. Ten days after receiving our stroller, I gate-checked it on a flight, and when I picked it up two hours later, one of the front wheels had snapped off. The airline, of course, did nothing, so I contacted Quinny's customer service. Even though the stroller was a gift (no receipt) and it was damaged by an airline, they graciously replaced the frame, free of charge. The customer service was amazing the frame arrived 4-5 days after my first initial email was sent. And, lo and behold, the new frame is infinitely easier to open and close!
My 20-month daughter requests this stroller over her larger, bulkier stroller (we also have a Britax B-Agile, which we love) when we're headed out for a walk. My husband and I joke that this is our "Camaro" it's not a completely practical stroller, but it's fun to use, pretty to look at, the baby loves it, and it's good for zipping around.
PROS:
Uber light stroller
Easy to take up and down stairs (perfect for the subway)
Comfortable for toddler
Easy to maneuver
Fantastic customer service
Nicely designed people are always complimenting and asking about the stroller when we're out and about.
CONS:
Almost no storage space (there is a large pocked behind the seat)
The opening and closing apparatuses have a learning curve, and it seems like some of the models are more difficult than others to use (I was actually unable to open and close my original frame a couple of times when traveling alone with the baby)
The awning/shade isn't great and doesn't do much to keep the sun out the baby's eyes; we have to use a hat on sunny days.
The stroller is so light that it's hard to hang a diaper bag off of the handles if there isn't a baby in it and the stroller isn't balanced just so, it has a tendency to tip over!
Final analysis: This is a great little umbrella stroller but it cannot be your only stroller it's a good supplement to a larger, bulkier travel system, especially for a toddler.
Honest reviews on Quinny Yezz Stroller - Blue Loop
Fantastic stroller! I was looking for something that I could use on a month long vacation in the city with my 3.5 year old (38 lbs). Something that I could haul on the bus and train that wouldn't be heavy, awkward and time-consuming to manage. This stroller is exactly what we needed. It is so incredibly easy to open and fold, that I could practically close it up and sling it over my shoulder in a single fluid motion as I entered the subway turnstile. And it is so light! I got so many compliments and inquiries as moms from Boston and NYC watched amazed at how quickly and easily I was able to fold it and reopen it. I figured I should write a review here with hopes that more moms and dads would find out about this awesome stroller. And it is not just great for the city. Now that we are back from vacation, it's still our go-to stroller when my son feels like riding around the neighborhood. If he's happy, I'm happy!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Quinny Yezz Stroller - Blue Loop
We travel a great deal and wanted to love this stroller because it's compact enough to take onboard our flights and put in the overhead bins. Not having to wait for a gate checked stroller is awesome! Except this stroller has a poor brake design and has given us nothing but aggravation since the 2nd day of use on our 2 week trip. The brake suddenly locks up out of nowhere. It started out as an annoying whirring sound where it was causing some resistance and I would have to constantly stop to tap the brake release pedal on the left side. Trying to get anywhere with this thing was a disaster. We were so frustrated I wrote Quinny Customer Service a week ago and still haven't heard back.
We are still out of town for another week and are stuck with this nightmare of a stroller. It has gotten worse and now the brake locks up completely and is unsafe. The first time was frightening because I was strolling along in Manhattan and the left side locks up and my 11 month old daughter gets nearly thrown out of the seat into the street if it weren't for the shoulder straps.
We visited a friend during our time in NYC who happens to be a set designer/engineer and he was surprised the brake didn't have a spring. He cut a small wedge of wood to shove in the right brake pedal to prevent it from locking up for the remainder of our trip. I'm praying we don't lose this little piece of wood before we get back home.
I'm really mad we haven't heard back from Quinny. I haven't had time to call customer service during our busy trip so had written them an e-mail during a nighttime breastfeeding a week ago and will write them again tonight.
People in the airport, hotel, and on the streets of NYC, Albany, and Toronto have been complementing us on the stroller and asking about it. I just tell them it looks great but has given us hell on this trip and we are ready to burn it. I tell them the brake locks up and point to the wood wedge that is preventing it from locking up but now we have no use of the brake.
As a first time mom I've been doing tons of research and read reviews on every baby product I buy. I took a chance on this stroller because it's new to the market and has so few reviews but now I regret it.
There is no way I would recommend this stroller. I will update this review if I ever hear back from Quinny.
