I have two of these carseats. One I bought last August and the second one in December when I started to watch a second infant. I would not have bought a second one if I did not love this carseat. It's extra long, so good for leg room and will readily hold a newborn or a 12-15 (maybe 18) month old child. So no need to buy two infant carseats! Works like all other carseats. Snaps in and releases from the back. One thing I found out was when shopping at my grocery store this carseat will latch onto the basket, where you would sit an older child, and unlatches just like when in the base. The first few times I thought we were stuck! (I'm just mentioning this in case it happens to you.) It doesn't do this with every store's cart though. I love the color as I am tired of black. Could be used for either sex. One thing it doesn't have is a very large canopy, but it works for me.

We've only had this car seat for about a week so any praise we give should be considered preliminary. It seems to be a very sturdy car seat. Our delicious 7-month old granddaughter seems to find it comfortable. We fear all to soon she will outgrow it, but for now it is quite perfect.
