This travel system is Ah-mazing! Super easy to put together, really sturdy and in person the pattern is gorgeous! The pinks are really vibrant and it is VERY easy to keep clean, definitely worth the money, super happy with this product! Would recommend it to anyone : )Best Deals for Graco - Spree Travel System, Priscilla
I love the stroller. The car seat and base is great too, but now that I am looking at convertible car seats I would not buy this again. My only two problems with this car seat is one.... it only goes to 22 lbs. Graco makes other infant sets like this that go to 30lbs. Two the harness straps are adjusted from the back of the car seat. I thought this would make it easier to adjust compared to the button adjustment between the legs that other models have and I was wrong. The straps are constantly coming loose. Now that my daughter is 8 months old she is strong enough to wiggle her torso forward and break out of the 5 point harness. It was great until she learned to push herself up with her elbows.Honest reviews on Graco - Spree Travel System, Priscilla
I recieved this as a shower gift. It was purchased considerably less at Walmart, so I would start there if you're thinking of buying it.I found that the base of the infant car seat doesn't fit correctly in my carI have a Ford Explorer Sport editionso the front seats sit too close to the back to use the base. We deal fine without it, although the base would be more convienent.
Six months later, the black color on the seat has begin to fade, and doesn't exactly match the stroller. I would double check the strap adjustments on the seat before/after/periodically, they don't seem to stay tightened as well as I'd like them too. It is easy to keep clean, just a damp cloth with Dawn does the trick. I've found the stroller extremely easy to use; manuverability is easy even one-handed, and it's also lightweight. The one hand open and close mechanism is a treat, although I am terrified that it will soon breakit doesn't seem to be made very well. I've found myself standing outside of the car, freezing, trying to line up the push-and-slide button exactly to get the stroller to fold. The bin at the bottom of the stroller is good size, so the matching diaper bag in this design fits without a struggle. There are three total cupholders on this model, two on the handle that also boast a sort of "console" compartment. I wouldn't put a drink without a lid in these, or a full one for that matter. I've had lidded coffee spillbut a can of soda or water bottle does fine. The compartment does a great job of holding cell phone and keysand if you can keep your child from tossing their drink overboard, the third cupholder next to the stroller seat is a nice bonus. A stroller with a five point harness is new for me, as my other children are older, so it took a minute to get it latched. The five point is nice if you have an escape artist or a "slider" on your hands. Parents with slider children will know exactly what I mean.
Overall, this is a good product for the money. It looks good and functions well.
I would have given five stars if this system had a sturdier open/close mechanism, thicker padded car seat, was more resistant to fading, and a sleeker designed base.
