I spent a lot of time choosing this travel system. The factors I considered most when purchasing were safety, comfort, and durability. When looking at some other strollers/carseats in stores a lot of them felt uncomfortable for baby (not much padding) and did not feel very durable, but the Chicco ones felt better in quality to me. This carseat was also rated really high for safety which was extremely important for me. I chose the Hazelwood color for my baby girl because I wanted something gender neutral for future use. I wished the Hazelwood color came in the Keyfit 30 pund travel system but unfortunately Chicco does not make that yet so I settled on the 22 pound car seat because I really wanted this color/pattern. The carseat is a bit heavy with the added baby's weight but it does not bother me because it feels durable and also helps tone my arms. The stroller is a bit bulky when folded (takes a lot of space in my trunk) but is easy to fold up and carry. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Let me first start off by saying the travel system was very easy to set up. It took me about 10 mins to remove the system from the packaging and set it up. Looks good with the neutral colors and seems extremely well built.

Now let me give Amazon customer service a 5star rating for helping my daughter come home to her family. Londyn was born 4 weeks premature and in order for her to come home she needed to be fit tested to her car seat. We ordered her travel system about an hour before her water break much to the surprise of everyone. Well upon learning that we needed her car seat I called and spoke to a representative who took care of my order with such ease. The end result being it was overnight-ed to me without any hassle! Amazon has my business and will be recommended to friends and family.

It is about time I write a review for the Chicco Keyfit 22. I have owned it for a year now and I am pretty sure I know all of the ends and outs. I spent a lot of time researching travel systems for my first child. I read hundreds of reviews and went to the stores to test them out. I was looking for safety, quality, style, and affordability (in that order). I own an Acura sedan and I didn't find the base hard to install. The seat clicks in a out easily and isn't any heavier than anything else you could find out there. The seat is good quality and the newborn insert was useful when my baby was tiny. The seat belt is easy to figure out and loosening the seat and tightening are not hard. I also found that the belts were not hard to adjust as she grew. The stroller is nice and decent quality. It rolls smoothly and I had no problems with it. It is easy to fold and unfold, but I agree with other reviewers, it is a little bulky. I like the fact that I can place the carseat right into the stroller without waking my baby if she was asleep. However, the basket does not allow for much room to store things if the seat is all the way down. It makes it hard to get things in and out of the basket. My biggest issue with this travel system is the material. I like that it is easy to clean, but it does not breathe well at all! I had my baby in the summer and she was always hot in this car seat. Sometimes sweating without a blanket on her. Although, it wasn't perfect I felt I made a good choice with the travel system and would recommend to a friend.

Honest reviews on Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel System, Hazelwood

I spent a lot of time choosing a travel system for my first child until finally settling on this one. After 6 months of use I am pretty happy with it:

+ The stroller has 4 reclining levels, including one that reclines completely flat important for newborns

+ the stroller rolls nicely, turns easily

+ the handle can be adjusted to several heights

+ when the baby is small, can close the foot part to create bassinet feeling

+ storage basket is pretty roomy

+ fantastic price!

+ the carseat can be removed from the base and carried with the baby (in those cases when you don't want to wake the baby up by fiddling with straps!)

+the carseat has infant insert and infant head support makes it cozy early on and can be taken out later as the baby gets bigger.

+ since it's a travel system, the carseat snaps very nicely inside the stroller (my baby hated to be in the stroller for the first month but was ok with the carseat, so this feature was perfect for taking walks early on)

Now few downsides:

the stroller might be a bit on the bulky side when it comes to putting it in the car. It pretty much takes the entire Prius' trunk space AND I have to fold the handle down to make it fit easier.

need an infant insert (snuzzler) otherwise enclosure too roomy for a newborn (needs to purchase it separately)

there is not much padding to the stroller now that the babe is 6 months and sits, I use a blanket under him to make it a little softer.

when the stroller seat is fully reclined (and it has to be if you are putting carseat in), it is virtually impossible to put anything other than a very skinny purse in the storage basket! Very annoying. From descriptions that I read, sounds like most strollers are the same way.

In the end, I was not willing to pay a lot more money for systems that might have marginal advantages, so I am still pretty happy with this one!

Video review of how we think the car seat adapters are installed.

Note: Remark about poorly written instructions are in reference to the manufactures instructions and not Bonnie's. If anyone sees any issues with how we installed these or my explanation of the product please feel free to remark.

The instructions that came with the Chicco Adapter are terrible!! I was finally able to get my Keyfit 30 to snap into the adapter..after many tries.

1. Standing behind the stroller (as if you're pushing the stroller), the "FOOT" support bar should be closest to you. The "HEAD" support bar should be farthest away from you.

2. When putting together the support bars, you want to make sure you are putting the black bar fasteners on the correct side of the support bars. The bar fasteners should go on the RIGHT SIDE of the adapter brackets. I originally put the bar fasteners in on the left side of the adapter brackets, and when I put the Keyfit in, it sat inside the support bars instead of snapping in. (I realized later that the instructions did show the fasteners on the right side of the brackets..but you have to look very closely. The instructions don't state that important fact at all.)

My husband and I were troubled by that. What happened if somehow the stroller was pushed by accident and someone forgot to buckle the seatbelt? (accidents do happen, and you never know.) Why would a company make an adapter specifically for the Chicco Keyfit, yet not make it so that it SNAPS in?

3. You're probably wondering what part of the Keyfit is snapping into the adapter? There are gray tabs that are on each side of the carseat. Those tabs are supposed to catch the inside of the adapter brackets. You will than have to use the orange latch in the back of the carseat to release the carseat from the adapter.

So when you're positioning the support bars, you will (by trial and error) have to place the carseat in to see where the gray tabs line up with the adapter brackets. After finding the perfect position, you will than tighten the bar fasteners so that the support bars are tight.

4. The carseat is than locked into the adapter. Clip the seatbelt on and you're ready to go!

Hope this review helps clear up how to install the Chicco car seat adapter to the City Jogger City Select stroller.

I bought this adapter to work with a Baby Jogger City Select Stroller and a Chicco Ketfit 30 and honestly, while it does the job, it was certainly a head-scratcher with regards to its design.

First off, let me say that there are MULTIPLE Chicco adapters for the Baby Jogger product line and to make sure you buy the right one. I know there are multiple adapters in general, but again, there are TWO different City Stroller Series adapters for the Chicco brand products.

To be fair to those reading this review, this is the adapter I purchased. If you have purchased this one (and you'll know becuz the included adapter components will match EXACTLY) or need one for the City Select Stroller with the Keyfit Series, this review is for you.

If you have purchased the following Chicco adapter (or is the one you will need for a non-City Select stroller), this review isnt for you, although youre welcomed to continue.Edit: Amazon took down the web addresses of .pdf instruction manuals of both products so that people can see the difference in adapters. Consult the manufacturer's website for the manuals. Sorry about that.

On to the review..

Let me start off by saying Baby Jogger had the right idea in making this adapter system. It is designed to be simple (maybe too simple), yet secure and consistent with their City Select product line.

The adapter itself is made up of the two shaped rails that connect together, the stroller locking brackets, each with an attached locking ribbon (the big, black components, which connect to the spots that your stroller's first and/or second seats would) and two screw-like bolts that secure the two rails once theye connected.

When the adapter is assembled, it will form a square shaped device and the Keyfit seat will sit/fit perfectly inside. The black locking brackets would attach to the stroller and the attached ribbons would wrap around the Keyfit seat, further securing it. Pretty simple, perhaps too simple.

Once assembled, the rails are able to slide within the brackets (the rails go thru them) and once you have your desired adapter position, the rails can be locked into the brackets using two red levers on the brackets' outer side.

So, here is the problem and probably where most of us have had issues. The two black brackets connect perfectly to the stroller. However, they have absolutely NO connectivity to the Keyfit. None, Niet, Zero, Zilch, Nada.

Upon closer examination of the locking brackets (you can look at them if you already own the adapter or increase the zoom on the pdf file above), while the bottom identically match that of the Baby Jogger seats, the top portion have grooves and are distinctly shapely, giving you the impression that they connect with something on the Keyfit. They dont.

Maybe Baby Jogger was told that the design specs would include a space for those brackets to connect. Maybe Baby Jogger is foretelling an upcoming design change of the Keyfit series. But, whatever it is, it has no relevance to March 2, 2011, as the two brackets DO NOT directly connect to the Keyfit on this date.

Now, this normally wouldnt be a big problem, BUT becuz the design of the adapter is so simplistic, the brackets give the undoubted impression that they connect to the Keyfit and many users, including myself, have spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how to connect them. And unless someone has re-constructed their Keyfit seat in some sort of manner, its not happening.

Now, to a very small credit (and I mean pebble of sand small), the brackets do somewhat connect to the two grey locking pieces on the bottom sides of the Keyfit (the pieces that lock the Keyfit into its base in the car), but it is not a seemless connect in the least and is more of a "stuck" than connect. I figured this out accidentally when trying to unhook the Keyfit to the adapter when putting the stroller in the car and was surprisingly unable to remove it. But, again, to me, this is more of a concidence and becuz the rails can be adjusted, thus adjusting the Keyfit's position in the stroller, this is not guaranteed to happen and if it does, users may be inclined to adjust the brackets' position on the rails so it doesnt happen again.

It is just a poor design of a product that works decent in spite of it. The biggest problem is when youre dealing with stuff like this, the first and foremost thing people are concerned with is the safety of your children. When you have components that look like they connect to something and dont, it leaves cause for concern, at the very least. Baby Jogger would be VERY WISE to re-design it or at least allow a third-party to design an alternative since nothing of the sort exists.

Buy the adapter at your own risk and more importantly, comfort level. If it is something you must have to get use of your Baby Jogger stroller with your small child (Baby Jogger doesnt recommend using their stroller's standard seats until the child is 40 lbs or so), then buy it, but understand that it wont work like you think it should. And if you can avoid it, at least until it's re-designed, or have the money to purchase a temporary alternative, then do that.

This review isnt to condemn the Baby Jogger product line becuz I actually love it. Its really more of a reminder to them of whats most important and that their current design of this product has major flaws which will make the consumer very apprehensive about making a purchase. Hopefully, they will get the message, if they already have not received it.

Honest reviews on Baby Jogger City Select Car Seat Adaptor For Chicco Car Seats

I'm sure you've read many reviews and the troubles people are having installing the adaptor and getting it to click "securely". I found one link awhile back with a blog and pictures about how to "successfully" install this adaptor, so I went ahead and bought the Chicco infant seat because it's one of the top picks, but I can't seem to find this installation guide anymore! So I'm on my own.

We also just got this and I tried installing it last night. The instructions are easy and clear to put the adaptor together and on the stroller. However, they aren't clear about how to make the infant seat attach securely. It says you must use the "safety" straps. And as the makers of the adaptor, they are correct, if you use the straps this seat will be secure. However, in my opinion, the straps should be a back up measure, not the main component of making it safe. The seat should be secure just by clicking it in and the straps used "just in case".

I got it to click in and if you lift straight up, there's a lot of wiggle room, but it won't come out. HOWEVER, depending where you move your rods (more forward or backward), I've been able to lift it up from the front or from the back and been able to get it to come out without pulling the release button (this is all of course without the straps secured).

With trial and error, I've been able to move the rods to a place where it clicks and won't come out lifting straight up, or lifting the front or back, however, if I do it hard enough it still will release without pulling the handle.

By no means, the car seat will be under the same stresses that I am giving it to test the "secureness" of the latches, but as a new dad, I just want it to be as securily snapped in like it does to my car seat base. My chicco car seat base doesn't need a safety strap to make it 100% safe. This one does.

I've been watching how the grey tabs click into the black adaptors and have noticed that they 1) made the hole too big so it wiggles around 2) the bars should be at a higher angle, because when you put the seat in, it sinks down past the point where it should latch and it causes the latches to already be halfway depressed. Thats what's giving me the ability to be able to pull the seat off from the front or back, but not lifting straight up

I'm going to see if I can Home Depot myself a way to make the hole smaller and a way to reangle the "head" and "foot" bars so they can be lifted up so it'll be more secure. If I can do that, I'll add pictures and video to the reviews.

Conclusion:

From what's sold from the manufacturer (as is) this is a lowsy engineering excuse for a product and I'm an engineer! It will click in, but not be as secure as the car seat base. With the strap on, I can say I feel safe with it, but IMO I should feel safe without the straps on and the straps be for back up only.

If you love the stroller like me, and want to find an adaptor that works out of the box, try some of the other car seats and the other adaptor, I hope they would work better than this one. However, I have already purchased this thing and I'm going to somehow make it 100% safe W/O the straps, but of course I'll use the straps regardless.

I'll reply back if I do!

Given how impressed I was with the City Mini GT stroller design and instruction manual, I was quite surprised at just how horrible this adapter is. It feels like somebody at Baby Jogger had a deadline and shipped the product before it was ready. The process of attaching the adapter to the stroller is confusing, the car seat doesn't secure tightly, and the one-page instruction sheet is dismal. Rather than designing the adapter to hold the seat securely, they just included a strap to clip across the top, right over the baby. Why not just ship it with a roll of duct tape next time, Baby Jogger?

If you really have to suffer through having this adapter, though, here are two things to note (in addition to the help you'll need from some other video reviews showing how to install the thing): the adapter mounts go in the LOWER of the two holes on the sides, and there may be a little plastic piece filling the lower hole that you have to remove first; and as long as you can lift the stroller by picking up the car seat, you've installed it correctly it doesn't get any more secure than that.

Poor form, Baby Jogger.

Update 7/12: We happened to ask about this adapter on a call with Baby Jogger and learned that they are just introducing a new version, Model BJ90121. We bought it (elsewhere) and that one is substantially better for the Chicco Keyfit 30. The instructions and assembly are far better, the design and construction of the adapter is better, and the carseat actually snaps in place no if's about it. Thank you for redeeming yourself, Baby Jogger. Note: I don't know which model is sold on this Amazon page.

The stroller arrived at the date estimated and I opened the box and had put it together in fifteen minutes, the instructions were simple and easy to follow. It is light and very easy to fold using one hand. Once folded the stroller stands on its own and is easy to move. The car seat inside the stroller feels very secure but at the same time it's easy to release it. Once the base of the car seat is secured in the car it's very easy to put the baby inside the car and easy to release it when taking the baby out of the car.

the stroller looks great and rides smoothly.

I purchased the Diono Travel Bag for my daughter's car seat to take on vacation. First, I'm a stickler at keeping our things as clean and damage-free as possible. I wanted this bag because I planned on gate checking the seat. I never check it in at the ticket counter because I've seen car seats falling off the trolley on their way to the plane. The baggage handlers don't even notice and sometimes the seats get run over. Not happening to our seat! The bag comes with dual straps so you can carry it as a backpack. However, if you own a Diono Radian RXT, you know very well how heavy they are. I wasn't going to put my husband through that so I also purchased a $22 luggage cart so I could just pull it behind me. It worked out great! Once it was time to gate check the seat, I just folded the luggage cart and stuck it in the bag too so it wouldn't get lost. The bag itself is made well. The zipper is pretty heavy duty and did not rip. I will have to update this part once we've used it more, but for now I feel it's a must-have for traveling.

Update: Diono sent me a new bag which fixes my only real problem with the product. There are now two strap attachment points on one side of the bag. So it now works great in shoulder bag mode. The really amazing part of this is that when talking to customer service months ago I said that if they ever fixed this problem on the bag I would like a new one. And then it just shows up last week.

Original review:

So first off this is a substantial bag that fits the Radian 120 like a glove. The fit on the width and height is perfect, there is a bit extra on the depth at the top but this leaves you enough room to shove the rear facing booster and a jacket in if needed.

The materials are very thick with firm foam padding in select areas. Inside there are three skinny pockets that will let you stash the shoulder straps at check-in. Again this is heavy luggage fabric not gym bag fabric. After one trip with the bag as checked luggage there are no signs of wear. I expect that this bag will last as long as the seat.

Now for the two problems. All the images on the packaging show two compression straps on the top sides of the bag and metal attachment points for the shoulder straps on the four corners and the middle top position. This should allow you to use two straps with the low side and high center attachment points as a backpack. Or use one strap with the two points on either side and carry it as a shoulder bag. What you actually get is a bag without the compression straps and missing one of the high side mount points. This causes the following problems.

The lack of compression straps feels like it allows the top of the seat to fall away from your back in backpack mode, this makes it less comfortable to carry then a good backpack. I will say that compression straps may not help this much as the bag is a very snug fit to the seat already. And that i feel like loose straps are asking to get ripped off in airline baggage handling. So if this was the only problem I would be giving it 5 stars.

But the big problem is the only set of side attachment points is on the opposite side from the grab carry handle on the bag. So once you take the bag off your shoulder you have nothing on the top side to pick the bag up except the long shoulder strap. There is a nice padded grab handle but it's on the bottom and is sitting on the ground at this point. This is really simple and obvious problem that should have been apparent to the designers the instant they saw the first prototype.

Update: I emailed Diono customer support the same comments in this review and got a prompt reply thanking me for my feedback--which they passed on to the product manager--and included his responses. He said the packaging image was incorrect and changed after the start of production. Also that the compression straps were for another use and they never appeared on a shipping bag. He also commented that changing the shoulder strap to the same side was a good idea and would be investigated for future models.

They also offered to replace my bag but said the replacement would likely be the same as the one i have. I declined the offer.

+1 star for great customer service.

Best Deals for Diono Radian Travel Bag, Black

We choose the Radian carseat because we travel. We travel A LOT. The portability of this carseat sold me on it over the Britax seats. I purchased this bag to allow us to lug the carseat around more easily.

The bag is ESSENTIAL for travel. Without it, my husband who was flying solo with the baby wouldn't have made it. Unfortunately, after the first trip, the bag is already ripping at the seams and has a hole where the strap attaches to the bag. I'll be contacting customer service for a replacement.

Honest reviews on Diono Radian Travel Bag, Black

Most photos of the travel bag still show a "sinching mechanism" on the top sides of the bag, which would be required for removing slack from the bag. The actual travel bag no longer comes with this mechanism. So, it's not actually possible to remove the slack from the bag. And there is a lot of slack in the bag enough that if you're doing more than 20 minutes of walking with it, you will feel it. (we're traveling to London where we will be carrying it on our backs for a couple of hours at a time in order to get from airport to where we're staying and back)

I've also seen a lot of pictures showing a woman comfortably carrying the Diono on her back despite the fact that it's quite heavy. So, I was planning on carrying it on our trip. However, because of the slack in the bag, I don't think there's any way that I would be able to safely carry it.

My husband is 6' tall and weighs 81 kg (roughly 180 pounds). The car seat covers his entire back and still has enough slack that it makes him lean back a bit.

Also the plastic base to make the car seat rear facing requires a fare bit of manuevering the first few times to get it into the bag and get the bag closed. Don't give up. It is possible.

With that said, it is very sturdy. We're sure it will keep the car seat safe and clean, which is what it needs to do most. And, if we were driving duuring our trip abroad rather than taking public transport, the slack in the straps would be a non-issue.

Just took our new Radian carseat on two plane trips, the bag did well. I was traveling alone with a toddler, so I had to get kid+stroller+carryon+big checked bag+carseat from the car in the parking lot to the check-in counter. Last time it was easy, just snap the infant carseat onto stroller, this time I had to try something else, in comes the backpack mode of this travel bag.

Pros: It was better than single shoulder strap carrying of the carseat (yes it was heavy, but that is the carseat itself at that weight the only thing that would help is backpacking padded waist strap).

It fits the Radian XTS with rear facing attachment and blanket/jacket and other things that made my check-in bag overweightand it is free luggage.

The placement of the back pack straps without over doing it construction wise, having the straps attach midway up the bag made sense, yes the bag rides high that way, but if it were attached higher it would be hitting the back of your thighs as you walk, making walking cumbersome.

Cons: It is a tight fit, an extra 1/2 inch would keep from having to wrestle the last corner of the seat in. I'm not sure that cinch straps are needed as suggested by others, my seat didn't have anywhere to move in the bag.

The bag is showing wear on the spots where the bag fits tight, but so far minor wear considering it has been treated as checked baggage on six flights.

I am taking it on several more flights in the next few weeks, I feel pretty sure that the bag will survive, it now has its place in my traveling routine.

This is the first review i have ever written but felt i had to because i love this booster! You can tell a lot of thought went into this design. The extra foam padding really makes the seat soft. The color choice is fantastic. This booster is very well made and was an incredible find! My daughter loves this booster for it's comfort and there is not a more sleek and classy looking booster on the market. I would definitely recommend this seat!

I was specifically looking for a narrow backless booster to fit 3-in-a-row in the back seat of my sedan, this was not so narrow. The description says 12", but now I see that means the internal width, not the width of the whole thing! I'm sure it's a great booster, but I feel like I just wasted a bunch of time... it will be going back.

I like most things about this seat. Very light, easy to remove covering, and the color/design is good for a black/gray interior car. The lap and shoulder seatbelts hit just right. My complaint would be that the seat is just too wide in a small car's back seat. And unnecessarily wide for 3-7 year olds, That also means the seat belts are harder to click-in by the kids. YMMV.

This is the best deal I could find anywhere for the Quinny Buzz set (stroller, bassinet and car seat). It's quite a deal when you think how much you'd pay if you got them separately. I had seen the stroller in person and I really liked the esthetics. As for the car seat it seems very sturdy and it's thankfully NOT like the Graco styled car seats everyone else has. So ugly (They look like someone barfed flowers all over them). The bassinet was larger than I expected (not a bad thing) and a lot more sturdier and well made than I expected. A major plus! The best part is that I can use the bassinet or the car seat on the stroller with the included adapter.

The set is definitely worth the price, even if you were to buy it separately. The only negative thing was that there was a shipping mixup and so I had to wait an extra week to get the bassinet. It really wasn't an issue though since the baby won't arrive until late November. So not a big deal at all.

I love my Quinny stroller! I love the look of it (modern, simple and stylish) and I love the functionality of it, which is a way more important factor when it comes to babies and all their gear. Our son is three months old so we've started him in the Quinny Dreami Bassinet and he feels so cozy in it! It's got a PLUSH liner throughout the whole inside of it and a foamy cushioned bottom. More often that not, we put him down in it and he sleeps in it all through the night, and, sleeps better in it than in his crib. He seems lost in his crib and he's seemingly much more content in the cushy bassinet. Besides quickly interchanging the bassinet on and off (one button press on each side and off it goes!) it also interchanges wonderfully with the Maxi-Cosi car seat that we have. Soooo convenient!!!! And you can have forward or backwards versatility, again with the push of one button. It collapses super easily. And, I love how it unfolds automatically. No fighting with it in the Target parking lot! The brake system is well thought out and lastly, the turning radius is awesome. Turns really easily in small elevators and store aisles. My brother is having a baby in the fall and I've totally recommended he buy this stroller.

I bought this highback booster after another booster I had my eye on went up in price. I then asked myself, "Do I really want to spend another $100 on my 4th carseat?" (We have two cars and two kids). I immediately did some online research and came upon the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's 2010 Booster Bsst Bet list (The 2011 list is yet to be published). On this list, boosters are listed as "Best Bet", "Good Bet", "Not Recommended", or "Other Tested Seats" that are neither best or good bets or not recommended. After scouring the list of Best Bets, I found the Safety 1st Air Protect listed. I then checked out the great video on Safety First's website that demonstrates the research behind the Air Protect system and why it was developed to help keep children safe during side-impact collisions. I immediately used my 'Amazon Mom' membership to order up a new seat for my 4-year old and it was on my doorstep in 2 days! Now that it has arrived, I can say that I am impressed with the great quality of the seat and the amount of cushion and padding it has throughout. I looked at a number of boosters at the store, and many of them lacked plush padding for little bottoms. We like to travel, so I wanted to make sure my son would be comfortable. Also, the Air Protect technology at the headrest seems first-rate, and is also very plush and supportive. Not that my son falls asleep in the car very often, but I am confident that if he does, these headrests will help him from suffering that dreaded "droopy-neck syndrome". All in all, from one picky mom to another, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this booster seat to all!

* One additional note: The manufacture date on my booster is 2/4/11, so we have plenty of time to use with our younger child. I know that is a concern of some when ordering boosters online!

We ordered this booster and delivery was flawless, as usual with amazon. However, upon opening the product, I already felt the poor construction. I put both halves together, and could move it several inches front to back while "locked". The manual stated that "a little play was normal", and I could have lived with that. I couldn't get it to snap into the second position. That again I could have lived with. The major flaw, however, was that the headrest adjustment does not stay up. Any movement will bring it down. Video reviews only show people moving it up and down with one hand. When my daughter got in the car seat, down went the head rest. Readjusted, and when she got out, same thing happened. Not only is it inconvenient, it is just unsafe. If the headrest was down or went down in an accident, it could really injure the neck of the child (my daughter is 6, 52 inches with a long torso. When the headrest comes down it really hits her shoulder/neck area). What a shame, as we had a wonderful car seat (Safety 1st Complete Air 65 Protect Convertible Car Seat, Silver Leaf) that actually protected our son during a major crash. The van was t-boned, flipped and dragged, our son didn't cry even once. The air feature really works, but it makes no sense to put a good feature on a terrible product. It is going back to Amazon this week.

I've always bought Maxi Cosi so I was torn between this booster seat and the Maxi Cosi Rodi XR. After reading the reviews on each seat, and watching the AirProtect video on the Safety1st website-I decided to go this route. Not a good idea. I'm not sure if my seat is defective but I received it today and there were many things wrong-I'm thinking of returning this item.

A few of the problems:

1. The cloth covering the seat will not stay on-it keeps falling off.

2. The headrest adjuster in the back is extremely flimsy-every time the seat moves, the headrest falls down.

3. The cushions/pads that are on the headrest do not sit properly-it looks like they are sagging, I've tried to adjust but it didn't help any.

4. The arm rest pads keep slipping off.

Overall, I am NOT happy with this purchase.

I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because my daughter says it's comfortable to sit in and because of it's safety reviews.

Our daughter loves this seat. It is easy to get in and out of the car, and super cute. It does heat up in the sun as does any other car seat we have had.

I am unimpressed with this booster seat. I purchased it after much research. It is flimsy and every time you pick it up it falls apart (head support falls off). The head support adjustment does not lock in well and so the head support does not stay in place. We have a Safety 1st Air Protect car seat and we really like it and it is a sturdy quality seat. I am disappointed.

I bought 2 of these and I have nothing bad to say about them.

They are easy to put on the car seats. I have two different styles of car seats, and the covers easily fit both of them. They do a good job at keeping the car seats clean, and the covers are easy to take off for a quick wash.

Purchased this cover as a quick coverup for a Britax Marathon. I received the cover in brand new condition in the box. The cover does not fit this particular seat well. I ripped seams in a few places to help the straps go where needed. Also, the flap in the back I keep folded down because our straps are at the lowest point right now. If I had the know how I would cut slits for the straps to go through so you could not see the flower car seat cover behind it. But... Works for now. My baby boy loves his carseat cover and that's all that matters!

This is a good way of keeping car seats clean. If you feed you child when driving dripping and spills can occur. With the Elmo seat cover, just slip it off wash in cold water, put it back on and the fun returns. Enjoy, we sure have.

Some reviews said it would fit the Marathon seat. It does fit on it, however, the belts do not go threw appropriately.

The product is very thin, you can see the other seat cover under it, when it arrived it already had a hole in the seem where you can clearly see there wasn't enough fabric to sew to begin with.

The product was as described and delivered on time. They are really cute and my daughter loves them. However, they are big. They get caught and tangles of the seatbelt. It's hard to keep them in place with her booster seat and she has yet to fall to sleep on it. Unless she's sleeping on it, it looks like a bulky pad against her neck. It may be more useful for bigger kids who do not sit in a seat at all.

The stroller is great and the basket is easily accessible. The matching Snugride 30 in Dragonfly snaps in perfectly. The canopies overlap just like they should. Everything with the stroller seems great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it only includes one elastic strap for attaching the carseat. After calling customer service to get another one I was told that they only come with one now and that it is safe to use just one. After all the older style Graco strollers I have seen with two, it makes me a little hesitant to only use one. An additional one can be purchased though through customer service. Everything else about it is great though! The colors are much better than many of their other systems.

So light and easy to fold/unfold compared to full sized strollers! Nice cushioning for a 7 month old And a tray for toys & sippy cup. Can't wait to walk my Granddaughter.

Best Deals for Graco LiteRider Classic Connect Stroller

I love this stroller, got it for a WDW trip for our out-of-stroller age children and it is easily the BEST stroller we have owned, having been through 5 or 6 including the Maclaren Techno XT & Peg Perego Pliko 3. The large basket is great for stowing gear, while the parent tray is more than a cupholder, it is very stable and its convenient height serves as a platform on which to plonk down my purse when searching for keys. The seat does not recline fully flat but about 75-80%. After a few trips to the outlet malls and a week at WDW here are my pros & cons, with the caveat that we bought it mainly to transport gear:

Pros:

great value, you won't find a better stroller at this price

very sturdy, does not feel cheap,

the handle bar is ergonomically correct and cushioned

turns on a dime, manouvers better than the Maclaren Techno XT

large storage basket

strong and stable parent tray

extremely robust, at WDW we loaded it with large water bottles, clunky photographic gear, lunch cooler as well as 2 exhausted grade-schoolers but it didn't show any signs of stress even though its stated max weight is 35lbs

when reclined it is sufficiently flat to use as a "shopping cart",

it is narrow enough to go down the narrowest escalator at WDW hence no need to detour to the elevators

1-hand fold, very lightweight

Cons:

does not recline fully flat, which could be a problem for newborns although this can be easily resolved by using the travel system,

nothing else really

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight stroller. We considered the Contours Lite but chose this one because according to some reviewers the Contours Lite had wheels that fall off. Not the LiteRider, it's easily taken loads of over 100lbs.

Honest reviews on Graco LiteRider Classic Connect Stroller

People really get into it when they write reviews. I read a few and finally decided I'm not as picky as most and as long as this thing doesn't fall apart I'm happy. This strolled is GREAT for travel and when you need to haul it in and out of the car. It's light, small, easy to assemble (took me 10 minutes tops), comfortable for baby, has a HUGE basket underneath and lots of cup holders. I love it!

I gave this carseat to my niece/nephew as a shower gift for their new baby. On the day they took her home from the hospital she was safe. My nephew said it was very easy to install in his car and the instructions were easy to understand.

I hate everything about this model. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones. Adjusting the straps is a pain, rethreading straps is a pain. Why put your self in misery? I love my cosco booster more than this thing. And I hate the handle. And getting my infant out was a pain, yeah like lifting the seat up and making her head flop forward is real safe! Sarcasm there. I wish I bought a baby trend or chicco keyfit, which the keyfit 30 is number 1 on consumer reports. So i would rather spend a fortune for ease of installation and all that. Oh yeah uninstalling is impossible, if I didn't have my husband I would have to cut the latch strips off. I don't know how anyone can like this when there are other car seats much better and well worth the money, this certainly ain't the safest on the market.

Love the Maxi cosi! The best for little babies! Don't need to buy the head suport, its so confortable that comes with one and the baby keeps safer!

I have purchased this model car seat one month ago. I love that it is very light (one of the lightest car seats on american market). It does have a few flaws. It does not fit in my dodge calibers back seat (we have it in the middle in order to even be able to drive). I would recommend measuring the space in the back seat before making a purchase. Also it takes a bit of play to figure out how to pop it in to the base without trouble. I had a different car seat for my other child ad it was extremely easy to pop in and out...not this one though.

Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. Car seat with adapter fits into Mutsy Evo Stroller.

Honest reviews on Maxi-Cosi Mico IC099INT Infant Car Seat w Baby on Board Sign

I registered for this car seat for my baby registry. My baby was born over a month later and she was not comfortable in it. She cried every time we try to put her in it. The car seat is hard and narrow. I tried to put all kinds of body support in it for her to be more comfortable, but it made the seat even narrower and she was crying. After a while of struggling I went and bought a Graco car seat. It's soft and wide and she loves it! I tried to return this overpriced Maxi-Cosi car seat back and the Healthcheck Systems Inc and they rejected it, saying they had 30 day return policy.....really?? This was from my baby registry!! How is it even make sense to have 30 days return on the baby registry products? My baby was not even born yet when these 30 days expired!!?? After rejecting my shipment this company sends my car seat back to the person who originally bought it for me from my registry and gave it to me as a gift!! How unprofessional and humiliating! I tried to open A to Z guarantee with Amazon, but my claim was denied and once again I was not the one who got contacted by Amazon, but my guest was. Every time I tried to talk to the manager at Amazon, I was denied by their customer service, who reassured me every time the manager will not be able to help me. What kind of a customer service is this? I am very disappointed with Amazon and Healthcheck Systems Inc. Be careful when making a purchase with them; I know I will never buy anything from them ever again!

The travel system has made my Phil and Ted's Sport the perfect double stroller.

When I was searching for double strollers, there was serious flaws with all of them. For me, the major flaw with the Phil and Ted's was I had to take my sleeping baby out of her carseat to put her in the stroller....the travel system fixed this problem.

The best part is my Graco Snugride carseat is small enough that I am able to put my two year old in the bottom double seat at the same time.(though this is not how Phil and Ted's recommend the use, and she is still small enough for the weigh limit). For a mom who live in the city, like myself, having a double the size of a single that also works with the carseat is absolutely perfect!!

Everything I read (even the box for the product) says that it works for the Graco SnugRide. We bought a Graco SafeSeat, so I took a risk and bought this hoping it would work for both. It does! The SafeSeat snaps in and is just as secure as the SnugRide. Not sure if I would put a toddler under the carseat, but maybe in the lying down position. Very easy to install on the Phil & Ted.

Best Deals for Phil&Teds Car Seat Adapter For Graco Snugride To Classic, Explorer

This travel adapter is the greatest thing on the market! I was looking for an adapter for the Phil and Teds Dash or Sport stroller that would allow me to put the car seat in the front and still be able to have the toddler sit in the back seat, even though not recommended by the company. I tried a different adapter and with that one besides being extremely complicated to install I had to recline the front seat too much in order to have enough room for a child in back. This adapter here, on the other hand, is perfect: It clicks easily in place and is easily removed but most importantly, I DO NOT have to recline the front seat at all to fit my carseat in there. The carseat clicks into place and is very stable. Also, I have the Graco Safeseat instead of the Snugride, and it works perfectly for the Safeseat! Thanks so much for making such a great adapter and thus making us moms' lives so much easier!!!!

Honest reviews on Phil&Teds Car Seat Adapter For Graco Snugride To Classic, Explorer

For those of you with the newest model Graco Snugride 35, this does indeed work! I was frustrated that Phil & Ted's website listed only the 30 and 32 as compatible and their customer service wouldn't give me a straight answer about whether the 35 would be compatible as well ("We have not officially tested compatibility for this product.") I decided to take the chance since all the carriers use the same car bases...I figured they must all be the same mechanism/specifications. So, buy with confidence if you have the 35 (or are basing your carrier choice on the compatibility with this stroller).

After much searching I found wording that all accessories made for phil&teds explorer will fit the newer model P&T's navigator. So I took the plunge and bought this accessory for my Phil&Teds Navigator. I was also unsure if i had a "snugride" or not, but I do have a seemingly standard Graco infant Carseat bought within the last 2 years. I have only used this once, as we are not due with second child for 4 more weeks, I set it up just to see how it worked with carseat on top and my son in the back. car seat clicked right in, seemed very stable, had some wiggle room but not enough to be bothersome, and surely wasn't coming off. I did have to adjust the main seat back a little bit by loosening the strap in back of main seat. ( the strap that makes the seat recline when unhooked). I assumed that was why it is adjustable because it isn't a long adjustment and it let out to the perfect length. I did not fold stroller while this attachment was connected, but it does seem like it would fold without removing as suggested. It was a little tough to remove attachment to replace with belly bar, maybe after a few times it will break in and transfer easier. however I plan to leave it set up in this style for a while, so no big deal for us. There was plenty of room for second child in doubles seat with graco seat on top. very happy with product.
