I was super excited when I first ordered this product. However, to my surprise it did not due the trick when my son had his first accident in his car seat. His car seat was soaked with urine. It did retain some urine, but not as much as I had anticipated.

I wish I would have bought these when my son was born. I just found these when looking at potty training items. They fit nicely in the seat and are easy to remove. Helps keep all the little food crumbs from sticking in the corners of the seat. I have not washed them yet.

My son had an accident in his carseat once with this in and it was completely soaked as well as the carseat itself! Better for gathering dropped snacks!

I purchased this with reading most reviews but was very disappointed. The first time we had an accident it soaked through the pad to the car seat and even through to the seat. It doesn't help at all. Also, this product is lined with a very soft but warm material that sits against the Childs rear, if you live in a warmer area your child will be insulated. It's too hot. I've found better luck with the bed pad liners from ikea and cutting a hole to let the buckle through. I have had accidents and it seems to hold more and often doesn't reach the seat. Some days are better than others. Tip # 1: protect your "car" seat. You can't wash it as easy as your Childs seat.
