I am very pleased with this car seat carrier. It is easy to unfold and hook up to the car seat. I have a Graco toddler car seat and had no problems hooking it up. It folds down easy to a small size that is easy to put in an airline overhead compartment. My son loves to sit in his car seat and ride around while I push it. The only thing that I would change is that I wish the fold down flap that supports the bottom of the car seat was a little bigger. The one that is on there hold the seat fine as long as you have it strapped on tight but a larger support would just make it feel a little more steady. Also, I think that it is over priced. I think I paid around $60 for it and that just seems like a lot for such a simple product. But I did not find any other car seat carriers for any cheaper. So I guess they are just all over priced. But overall I am very pleased. It makes traveling with a young child a lot easier. I cannot imagine trying to carry my son's car seat around the airport along with our carry on luggage and trying to hold my son's hand to keep him from running off all at the same time. Having this carrier at least takes care of the car seat and my son at the same time, leaving at least one hand free to handle carry on luggage.

I don't write reviews but I had to for this because I bought both products thinking the Brica one would be way better and I was wrong. It's not that the Brica is even a bad product, it's just not as good as the GoGo Babyz one. With my 3yo in his car seat the handle on the Brica would flex a lot under the weight and seemed very strained. The GoGo Babyz handle was a lot more solid in the material used and there was less strain on it due to the placement of the wheels. A big complaint about the GoGo Babyz one by most people is that the wheels are too wide, but I think this might be a case-by-case basis since the wheels were just as wide as my car seat and didn't stick out past it. At first glance the Brica is very well crafted and seems like a premium built model, but looks really can be deceiving when it comes to functionality.

This absolutely saved my life. I had no stroller that would attach to a toddler car seat and going on a 20 hour trip with a toddler and carrying a car seat by hand was definitely not an option. it was easy to instal and maneuver. A lot easier than I expected to be honest. I never once took the Brica off the car seat to load and on load him into the plane. I just simply flipped the wheels back in, pushed the handle down, lifted the entire car seat with him in it, placed him on his seat on the plane, and strapped him in. Once it came to get off the plane i just took him off the seat, put him down on the isle, pulled the handle up, hit the button to release the wheels and continued to push him off the plane. None the less all of the attention I got on this product made me feel like I purchased a good product. It is as simple as pushing a suitcase and my son loved to sit it in while in motion without complaining. It made my 20 hour trip to Europe a breeze. Strongly recommend this to any parent traveling. The only thing I will say, and this has nothing to do with the product itself, is to watch what car seat you use some may be to wide to pull up and down the isles especially on the smaller planes. However, it shouldn't be an issue if you are traveling with someone else.

Great idea/design, bad construction. We loved this product while it was working properly and were extremely disappointed that it broke on our FIRST trip (the first leg of our SE Asian tour). One of the locks on the wheels broke, which meant that we couldn't use it for the rest of the trip. When we tried, the wheel kept turning in, so that we were basically dragging the car seat. Also, when we stored it in the overhead compartment, the wheel stood up. By the by, we did not use this for anything, but the car seat. We did not have our child sitting on it when in use. So I don't understand why it broke. We have another trip in two weeks and will have to buy something else.

UPDATE: I contacted BRICA about the broken transporter and they shipped me another one that very day (to Seoul!). I must say that their customer service is amazing. We have another international trip and we will use the replacement they sent us. We will see if the replacement lasts any longer than the original.

We bought two, to travel with our twins and they made the airport MUCH easier! But by the time we got home one handle was sticking a bit, on our next trip 4 months later the top handle ripped out of the bottom section making the devise unusable, so much for that $60 bucks, on the other hand our other one still works great...

This is one of my son's favorite toys. He first started paying attention to it at about 2 months, mostly because of the bright colors, I think. He's now nearly 5 months old, and he enjoys grasping it so it crinkles, chewing on the attached bug and rings, a and looking at himself in the mirrored wing. The toy is small enough to take in the diaper bag, and the included clip is really handy with the infant seat and stroller. This is a great toy for infants, and you can really see changes in the way they play with it as their motor skills develop.

Freddie became my baby's favorite toy when he was about 2 months, now he is 6 and he still LOVES this "fly" (as we call Freddie). It is great for touching and feeling, chewing and playing all sorts of games. It is easy to hook on to anything, stroller, bouncer, high chair or car seat and I washed it with soap and water and it looks great. One of our best "investments".

I have both the firefly and the turtle. Both have pros and cons. I prefer the turtle because of the large mirror on his belly. My newborn has been fascinated with this since she was a month old. The firefly mirror on the wing is too small to interest her even though she is now 3 months old. However, the tangling teether from the firefly should come in handy in another month or two. If you were to buy only one Lamaze for a newborn, I recommend the turtle for its nice size mirror.

We received Freddie as a baby gift. At first I kinda thought he was just a cute, but tacky useless stuffed animal. Boy was I WRONG! My son (who is now 4 months old) has been obsessed with him for months now. When he was tiny he loved to just stare at him. Freddie's back is done in big white and black print which dear son could stare at forever. When he started holding things it was easy for him to hold because Freddie has big, but flat wings and it was hard for him to drop him. Now he loves hearing Freddie crinkle, looking at the mirror, chewing on the lady bug in his pocket, and grabbing his rings. Freddie does have a small squeaker that isn't too annoying and is semi hidden so only my husband and I push it when wanted. It'll be a little bit before the baby can grasp squeaking it on purpose. And even then it's not loud and obnoxious like lots of baby toys.

Freddie is by far our favorite baby item. We've accidentally left him at home once and that was a BIG.MISTAKE. This toy is now my "go-to baby shower gift" for all moms. He's FANTASTIC.

My 5 month old son loves this but with a week or so the red thing that hangs down came loose and could have choked him to death. Other than that, good product.

this is our second evenflo seat. we haven't found anything else with comparable features. we selected mainly because my wife has had difficulty installing and adjusting other seats.

this seat has two features that we really love. one, the lower attachment hooks are self-latching you just shove the end into the crease at the back of the seat, and it snaps on, you don't have to hook it over the metal loop. two, they are self-ratcheting you just push the base of the seat in towards the crease after attaching both sides, they tighten themselves. three, the release easily if you need to move it to another car just push the red trigger button underneath and it lets go. seriously, those lower attach devices are worth $100 of hassle by themselves.

the other feature we really love is the shoulder straps. they do not feed through different holes in the back; you don't have to take them out, put them in different holes, etc., when your child grows. you just slide them up or down to the right height.

an additional nice feature is that the headrest also adjusts up and down easily as the children grow.

not only *would* we buy another if we needed one, we did. and the price ($149.99, free delivery) was so good we were tempted to stock up on them (j/k).

We bought two of these, one for each car.

Price:

To start, the price on Amazon was about $50 less than the price for the same model carseat at Babies R' Us, Target, etc. So saved $100 there.

Packaging:

The packaging was kind of strange in that the carseat was just in a box, kind of bouncing around. I'm not sure if that was just Evenflo's packaging or if it was Amazon's idea or what ... not that big of a deal but I thought it was strange to not have the inserts that hold the product in place.

Installation:

Wow. Super easy.

I previously purchased the Graco MySize 70 and could NOT get it installed tight enough. It just did not work either using the LATCH system nor with the seatbelt. It was just impossible.

After returning that one and ordering the Evenflo Symphony 65 DLX E3 seat, OMG. I put it in the car, attached the SureLatch things to the LATCH connectors, pushed down using my body weight, and BAM it's installed! I had to roll up a towel beneath it to make sure it was level, but that is dependent on the car.

I told my wife that it was really easy to install the first one, and she said "Oh, good." She wasn't really impressed. I went out to the garage with the second one, and within about 30 seconds I was back inside and said "2nd one installed"! She was definitely surprised that time ... I'm not sure I can over express how easy the install is here.

I had to remove it so I could make a Home Depot run and said "I ain't even mad" since it's so easy to re-install. Awesomeness.

Safety:

This carseat had some extra side-impact protection which I really like. The pads on each side of the head are nice.

Infinite Sliding Harness:

Eh -it's just Evenflo's version of adjustability. It works fine but isn't really anything to write home about.

So some PROS:

Easy install

Seems comfy, safe

Good price

And some CONS:

Harness is kind of difficult to tighten

Cupholder is 100% worthless

Overall, I think this carseat was the best choice for our family. Cupholder wasn't really my main concern here.

This is the second one we purchased for my husband's truck. I did a lot of research and this one seemed to provide the highest rear facing weight limit. Plus it is super comfortable my baby never gets fussy in it. I have one in my car and I drive a four door Mitsubishi Galant sedan. It fits just fine. And it took my husband five minutes to install it.

2nd set of these carseats as I was in a car wreck and had to replace them, so wonderful easy to adjust, clip into seats super heavy they are very bulky chairs but wonderful especially after proving themselves when my family was t-boned at 50 miles an hour from the side. My babies are 2 1/2 and 1 years old and walked away with no injuries totaled both vehicles. love them!

We did all the research and pricing for our first car seat purchase and were very pleased with the Evenflo in 2010. Our almost 4-yr-old is in it every day and he still loves it. He's even good at using the cup holder! So, for our second son, I briefly checked the latest models of car seats from other brands, and the Evenflo Symphony was the obvious choice AGAIN! We really appreciate the way the 5-point harness slides above the boys' shoulders and how easily it releases/tightens for quick in and out. The SureLatch feature is terrific and easy to use with our 2009 minivan, and Papaw's truck, and Grandpa's Jeep. If you are interested in this car seat, be sure to find the Evenflo Symphony DLX it is the one with SureLatch. The other models of this seat have a different installation latch called Quick Connectors that other Moms have told me are a real pain to get tight enough so the seat doesn't move. And watch Amazon for sales...we got our DLX for less than $200! and free shipping!
