I got this seat for my son when he outgrew his infant seat. Though it was more than I was hoping to spend I wanted to make sure that I had something that would last. When my son was 1 we got in a pretty bad wreck. My truck rolled twice. This car seat kept him so safe that there wasn't a mark on him! To top it off, when I called the company to inform them of how amazing their product was they let me know to send in the old one that was in the wreck (since you aren't supposed to continue to use a car seat that has been in one though there was no damage to it what so ever) and they would give me a new one free of charge! Surprise! My son is now three and a half, using it as a highback booster and we are going to buy a second one for my daughter when she outgrows her infant seat.

I love Graco. I am a mom to 5 kids. I always buy Graco. I bought this seat and assumed that all Graco's were equal. It is a good car seat, but it is missing a few bells and whistles that I had with my last Graco infant seat that I LOVED.

First, there is no way to adjust the straps from the front. You have to adjust from the back side of the carseat. My other Graco had a strap and a button that you could push from the top/front. So if you stick your baby in and she has a sweater on, there's no way to make a quick adjustment of the straps. You have to pull her all the way out, flip the car seat over, and then pull more strap out. It is a pain!! Get the model that has the ability to do that! Well worth the extra money.

Second, the shade has elastic to hook onto the back part of the chair. My very first Graco from 10 years ago had this, and I was excited when my 2nd Graco had improved this feature I thought all of the car seats would have had this improvement done. NOT SO! So here's the deal: if the sun is coming in on the baby from an angle that is not behind her or on top of her (if it is coming more from her feet), you can't pull the shade that way to block it. Because the elastic part isn't hard, when you pull it downward, it just hangs in the baby's face... That's probably fine when you're outside and you can just turn the seat away from the sun, but when you're driving, you're stuck!!! Again, get the next model. I promise, this is one of the more frustrating things about this car seat. I wish I would've realized this.

In conclusion, this carseat is an okay, BASIC car seat. I do love Graco and will always buy Graco. BUT, this car seat is lacking 2 features that are sooo very useful and essential in the day to day functionality of a good infant seat. I WISH I would've known before I bought this. I would've looked further and spent a little more money to get the improved version.

I thought the other reviewers were being whiny; I had a Graco Snugride 22 for my first kid (a hand me down) and only bought a new one because it expired. I liked that Snugride just fine (it is a 2005 model). I bought this new snugride 22 without much research at all, because I knew I liked the old one. I was wrong about the other reviewers! The fabric is very loud (my old snugride had soft fabric). The canopy cannot be lowered to cover the front of the seat, if the baby's face is in the sun from other than the "default" position, because it only stays "up" when the back is around the back of the seat (my old snugride was adjustable to the front position). And worst of all the straps tighten independently, from the BACK of the seat. That is the left strap tightens separately from the right strap. You have to do them one first, then the other. And you can't do them when you're sitting in the front of the seat; you have to turn the seat around. Then you can't see what's going on in front (baby side of the seat) as you do it. So you have to go back and forth, back and forth, multiple times. And it is practically impossible to make the straps tight enough. We asked for a return label for this car seat the day we received it. A ridiculously difficult to use product; why did they ruin a good seat with these changed, I have no idea. We are instead going to try the Evenflo Serenade, which we just received today and which looks PERFECT in every way. Hope it works out perfectly, because we love the Evenflo Triumph for our older kid.

I like Graco, it's a trusted brand and has a lot of compatible equipment. I got this car seat for my baby shower and when I had the CHP check out my installation (everyone should, its free. 9 our of 10 carseats are not installed correctly or being used properly) they pointed out that the seat belt straps adjustments is only located in the back. Having them only in the back makes it difficult to adjust and just a general pain because you are supposed to loosen and tighten the straps every time you take your child in and out. I ended up returning the carseat (no hassle) and getting the SnugRide Classic Oasis model that has the adjustments both in the front and back. It's $10 extra and it will make it a lot easier to adjust.

I was so disappointed in the fabric of this car seat that we returned it immediately. It was so loud and scratchy and can only be described as really cheap and synthetic. I can't imagine a baby ever falling asleep in this chair easily I imagine it to be like going to sleep in crumpled paper! Pity though, cause the design of the fabric and the colors are cute.

I thought I did my research about the difference between this seat and the more expensive models. The reviews all said the only difference is the weight limit. NOT SO!! You cannot adjust the straps from the front. It's a big inconvenience. Not worth the savings.

This is just an awesome stroller and car seat! It gas an amazing rubber triangle for gripping the car seat. The base goes in my car easily. The design is cool, black with white circles and a baby yellow trim. I love the fact that its black because it always looks much cleanervthan my sisters stroller which is green and grey. Its perfect!

Not wanting to simply throw a blanket over the car seat as winter approaches, I decided to buy a car seat cover, and this is the one I picked primarily for its design with a flap.

The Jolly Jumper Sneak-a-Peek cover has a flap that can be closed for the trips to and from the car and opened in the car. There is a Velcro square to secure the peek-a-boo flap in both the open and closed position. Even with the flap closed, there is plenty of room between the cover and the baby's head.

The exterior material is reasonably waterproof, and the interior is fleece-lined. The dual zippers make it easier to get the baby in and out of the car seat.

Being from a pet-owning household, I purchased the gray Jolly Jumper car seat cover instead of the black, and so far it hasn't acted as a pet fur magnet.

This cover easily fit our Graco SnugRide 35 car seat.

The one con is that the cover is a bit too warm once the car heats up, so for extended car rides you'll want to remove any blankets packed in with the baby and possibly unzip the cover.

Very warm and comfy carseat seat cover. I bought this because winter is coming and it protects from the cold air (I have a rain cover for rain/snow). Quality made cover and unzips to allow easy access to baby. This is big enough to fit my Safety 1st onboard air 35 car seat, there is just a small gap on the sides but all in all it fits pretty well.

My husband and I purchased the Chicco travel system for our first child as a newborn. So far I have no complaints. We compared this system to several Graco models, but found that this was worth the extra money. The stroller itself has far more control when driving it. Very sturdy..and doesn't wobble like the Gracos. I found that it is especially nice if you are taller and therefore especially nice for the Dads. All of the other systems we looked at, my husband and I would both have to slump to push it, because the handle is so low. The material is durable and weather resistant. And the base of the car seat is adjustable to conform to your back seat and there is a built in level on the base to insure the base in positioned and secured evenly and acurately. Only small complaint is that when the car seat is in place in the stroller, it limits the amount of storage underneath the stroller making hard to put something large, like a diaper bag underneath. But I just place it over the handles and no problem.

This Chicco car seat and stroller is fabulous. I was a bit unsure that I wanted a travel system as many people complained they were big and bulky. After reading through all the reviews, I decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad I did. This is one of the best baby things we own! The car seat is great, but the stroller is even better. I don't find it to be any heavier or bulkier than any other strollers. I love that the stroller reclines all the way down so that you can change a small baby's diaper in the stroller without having to rely on any public bathroom surface. The handling of the stroller is wonderful the handles adjust and the wheels pivot easily or can be set to only move straight. When the carrier is in the stroller, you have a double awning over the baby to really control the sun exposure. I've also found that I use this stroller often without the carrier (my baby is around 14 lbs) just so he can stretch out in the stroller without being confined to the car seat. On the other hand, I do like having the ability to clip in the carrier in case he's sleeping, and I don't want to wake him.

If you're debating whether or not to buy a travel system don't. You'll be really happy with this one. I know people who have just bought this exact car seat and then struggled to find a separate stroller. It's just not worth it.

Also, I'm not sure why this design is called "Romantic." I have a baby boy and was concerned that it might be a bit girly. The picture just looks a bit pink. It's actually black and gray and perfectly gender neutral.

I have researched and researched and it came down to the Chicco and Britax systems for an infant car seat and stroller. My ultimate tipping point was that the chicco carseat fits better in my car. I loved the Britax as well but it was a bit larger and was just a tighter fit for my car. With the Britax the carseat would touch the back of the seat if my husband was sitting in the seat in front of the carseat and that is a big no no. (I highly recommend going to look at the car seats and then taking the ones you like to your car to make sure they fit). I have an older Lexus RX and the Chicco just was a better fit for my backseat. Plus it gets great crash test reviews and is very lightweight compared to most out there. I LOVED the fabric choice of the romantic and hope that chicco continues that pattern because it is very subtle and very neutral as we don't know the sex of our baby until they arrive. This is also a great stroller and carseat combination. Easy to fit the car seat in the stroller and easy to take out. The stroller folds down very easily, with just one pull of the handle it folds down fast. The stroller is also lightweight compared to some and I can easily pick it up into the car without throwing my back out. :O) Either way, I don't think you can go wrong with the chicco or the britax, but just keep in mind how much you want to lift and how big of a back seat you have. I would definitely buy a chicco product again and do not regret my decision at all. I love it!

I just bought the Chicco Key Fit Travel system in "Romantic" and LOVE it! I knew I wanted this stroller having talked to many people who currently use it. It has great safety ratings and is light weight yet durable. It comes in quite a few color choices but Romantic was only viewable online. No stores have it in stock to look at which is unfortunate because it is an awesome pattern. It does look like the color swatch on the chicco website but even better in person. It is so gender neutral with the black/grey/white but the small pattern of the dk grey gives it a softer feel. It is better than what I expected and a very modern look. I almost went with the "cubes" pattern but now having seen the Romantic I am very happy with my choice! It will be great for our baby girl and any future babies. No need to buy a different color if we have a boy later. Stores are missing out by not having this pattern in stock at the store to see!

I find that it is well made, fairly easy to assemble and comes with many options. It is easy to unfold and stow. It is fairly stable and easy to maneuver. It is handy having the tandum seating. I haven't had it long enough to really attest to its durability yet. Overall it is well made and thought out.

I read many reviews on many strollers before making my decision, and I think we ended up making a great decision. This stroller has been excellent for us.

This is a great product & I would recommend it to anyone. The color is great for a girl or a boy.
