We got this to make a "travel system" with our Safety 1st carrier. It was easy to set up and it is easy to fold and unfold. We have only used it a couple of times as the weather hasn't been great yet (winter), but we have used it outdoors and indoors and with and without the carrier. It traveled well outdoors across a park lawn (so fairly bumpy). I didn't have a lot of trouble maneuvering it over the rough terrain It would probably have trouble on a hiking trail or in the woods, but it is not really designed for that, so I wouldn't expect it. The infant carrier easily attaches and detaches from the stroller, which is nice when you have a sleeping baby. The canopy is nice it has a mesh panel that you can open to see baby, or close to keep it dark and a separate panel that you can adjust for extra sun blockage! When you have the infant carrier in the stroller and you use the carrier canopy too, you can have complete canopy coverage to keep it dark (and to keep people from waking your sleeping baby LOL!). When used without the carrier, it has a harness to keep baby safe and the seat can recline to make a bed. The only "negative" is that the "storage area" under the seat is a little on the small side. For us, it really only holds the diaper bag and a few toys (which you will need for a full day out and about!). So it holds the necessities, but there is not a lot of room for extras.

Pros...

Moves freely and easily

Carseat fits snuggly

High quality, made sturdy

Not hard to put together

Cons

Heavy! Not impossible to lift, but much heavier than others I tried...requires two hands

Collapse feature is a little stiff...still works with one hand might get easier with use

Adjustable incline also a little stiff...def need two hands

Parts are tiny for wheels...I have small hands and it was very hard putting the pins in

Overall...if i would not have bought the carseat for it's high safety rating I would not have bought this stroller. But i do like the quality and durability and it fits my carseat nicely so it will due. Moves great just heavy...I love the carseat (air protect 35) and this is the stroller that it goes with so I'm def keeping it. I keep thinking the weight is just a trade off for the very high quality construction!

I bought this stroller to be part of a travel system with the safety first onboard 35 air car seat. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I like how the sun shade can be arranged in different ways depending on how dark you want it for your baby. The basket is a good size and can hold a diaper bag. The stroller is not difficult to fold; however, it is kind of heavy and awkward to lift into a vehicle even in the folded position. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would buy it again if I ever need another stroller.

Honest reviews on Safety 1st Aerolite Deluxe Stroller, Silver Leaf

We bought this stroller to "upgrade" from the safety 1st jaunt travel system.

The GOOD

The slidegaurd, which keeps a child's head from getting caught between the tray if they happen to undo thier buckle.

The fold is easy to do

Even though it's not a all terrain stroller, it works well over gravel, grass and dirt

The canopy is unlike any other it gives you the option of sheilding from the sun while having a nice brezze come through the mesh opening, however

doesn't help when it rains, even when buttoned up.

The BAD

After using this stroller for about a month (I used it almost everyday & sometimes through gravel/bumpy sidewalks) it would squeak even after using WD-40

The wheels would stop rolling after going over a bump

The seat back was hard, no cushion what so ever, but if you happen to have a extra car seat or highchair padding around you could use that, which is what I ended up doing.

The storage basket is at a angle to if your doing lots of shopping be sure to put your heavy items in front and small in the back otherwise the heavy item will just keep sliding towards the front.

The cup holder on the parents tray are short, any slight bump i would go over and my water bottle will fall out rolling down the street.

Overall for the price now (we paid over $150 through here) I would say it's worth if you don't mind the bad, although I think they should of added the car seat with it. When connected and all canopys are closed it makes a nice sheild from looky loos. Also there is no front wheel lock to make it a fixed /swivel stroller.

I love this stroller! I gave it 4 stars because the rear wheels stick out farther than the front so you think you made it through the door just to remember the rear may not.. after a while you get used to that. Also, the seat recline holds it's place but is kind of cheaply made.. I just prefer the metal bar that locks to the draw string type of this stroller. I love the way it folds in half! It is much less bulky than other travel strollers! It opens and closes easily! But it's not like anyother stroller I have ever used. It closes backwards.. with the seat facing out, but this allows it to be free standing on the wheels. It takes getting use to but I like it. It is good and heavy duty.. I dont feel like I got something cheap (except for the draw string seat). It also works great with the Air35 car seat as a travel system... its very secure and the canopy covers the entire thing to realy enclose the baby if needed. Overall, I love this thing!

I would give this seat 5 stars, but I very much disliked the assembly of the seat. It wasn't that it was difficult, I just haven't had to assemble a car seat before, so it was off putting. It also made me worry a bit more about safety and such since there was a margin of human error in assembly.

These seats are narrow, which is why I bought 2. I have a Dodge Caravan and needed to fit 2 high back booster seats and 3 car seats in the 5 available back seats. These booster seats are narrow enough to fit both on the back row with a Diono RadianR100 Convertible Car Seat, Stone forward facing or rear-facing. (Leaving the two captain's chairs free for 2 other car seats.) It is a little bit tight in the buckling the boosters in with three across the back, but it can easily be done by an adult. (I'm looking into seat belt extenders now to make it so the kids can buckle themselves.

The seats are narrow, but easily fit my two children needing booster seats. (One is 7 years old, 48" tall and almost 50 lbs. The other is 5 years old, 42" tall and 42 lbs.)

We are extremely happy with this seat so far. Sharp-looking, slim profile, comfortable. It's not luxurious but it is functional and fits my almost 6 y/o (40 lbs, 44 inches tall) well. Great product, thanks!

the booster was put together in a matter of minutes and seems to be sturdy. I especially like the design of the cupholders with all of the weird shaped kids cups that we have.

I use this changing pad every day with my newborn son. I did not buy a cover to go with it and I don't think one is necessary. The material is waterproof and my son has already put it to the test several times, it wipes completely clean and we usually just put a cloth diaper down for his head and leave the rest of it open. If you buy a cover for it, be prepared to change it constantly (at least if you have a little boy) because it will likely get peed on on a daily basis! I believe the pad says that it has a slip proof bottom, however I have not found this to be entirely the case. I find that I can slide it myself at times when I am trying to shift my son's position although he has not been strong enough to move it himself and we do have it attached to the wall behind the dresser as well. The pad is a good size and seems like it will be long enough for him for quite some time. Overall I definitely recommend this pad for anyone that doesn't want to spend the money for a changing table ours works perfectly fine on top of a dresser.

My daughter just adopted two little boys 1 & 2 so back to diapers again. This time we purchased a dresser and placed the changing pad (which comes with anchoring straps) on the top and it works just great for both boys & saves Mommy's back. The pad is quite thick which is unlike many pads on the market which give little support during the changes. These are husky little guys & the pad is both long enough & supportive enough to be comfortable for the toddlers and to do the job well. A wise purchase indeed.

After my husband nearly dropped our baby changing him directly on a dresser, I decided a contour changing pad would ease my mind. Just the curve seems to hold our wiggly, active 5 month old in place. We don't use the strap and recently cut them off since they were catching on the drawers of the dresser. I do use a changing sheet/pad on to of the pad for ease of cleaning. The price and size of this pad was ideal. Try it out.

Honest reviews on Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad

I bought this pad after such great reviews. While the quality seems good, there is an awful toxic smell. Maybe it's the plastic backing???? I've had to change my pad covers because they smell like some sort of fumes. I've had the pad for 2 weeks now without the pad cover trying to air it out. I'll update in a few weeks. If the fumes aren't gone by time baby comes, I'll have to return. Anyone else have this problem???

Update After a month of airing it out and washing it (never used it and baby not even here yet), the smell didn't go away so I returned. I ended up buying a Serta at Babies R Us so I can smell it in person. Not even close in comparison. The Serta had no vinyl/chemical smell whatsoever. I don't know how this pad gets such good reviews, unless I just got a lemon. I love my new pad and know my baby is safe without all those chemicals. Also, the smell really piqued my interest and did a little research. Many changing pads are filled with polyurethane (flame retardant) which is known to cause "birth defects, cancer and reproductive problems". I learned this via Amazon and the California Resident disclosure that must warn California residents if this chemical is used in any products. Just beware. I'll forgo the flame retardant that is pretty unlikely the changing pad would catch on fire while the baby is on it versus the harmful chemicals being exposed multiple times a day. Just beware!

Product specifications say that it is made from PEVA, which is supposed to be safer than vinyl. However, specs do not say that the filling is 93% polyurethane foam. The whole reason I ordered this one was to get away from polyurethane foam, so I will be returning it. Stick with the Munchkin brand or whatever you can find at Target, which is only 67% polyurethane foam,(or organic if you can afford it I guess). Also, the sides on the Summer Infant brand are not very deep. The Munchkin brand has higher sides, which may help prevent baby from rolling. Only advantage of Summer Infant is that the entire bottom of the pad is covered with non-slip material, as opposed to only a few strips of non-slip material. But the Munchkin one does provide some nails as well which you can hammer into a dresser or whatever you are going to put this on.
